If clipper isn't working, you can still upload directly to your items!! Easy Peasy! That's the only way I do it! xo
-
@sammie-g I never use clipper. I kopies the pictures to my photos and then go to items in my profile,. Add items ,upload from my photos ans thats it.
-
@johbri @Laughingdog Ah, OK, I actually have never used it like that!
-
@sammie-g I save them to my desk top then drag them in. 10 at a time.

-
-
@laughingdog I only get to do 5 at a time. Do you use the app? Maybe it allows for more images per upload.

@sammie-g Yes. Thats right. I never use clipper. Only pick up photos from my photos.

@funkyjunkygypsy Thanks for the link and the attention to the problems that may arise when using other people's artwork.
This has still been a huge thing on my mind, using other people's artwork and the problems that it may cause.
Luckily I'm a person that usually cuts up all originals. Mainly to be original but also to avoid artists claiming their work.
Nowadays it's a discussion in my head, will I 'steal' or will I create and clip my own images?
Two months ago I saw my own AI design on Pinterest! I immediately recognized it and I was like ... stunned.
A great realisation that everything you put on the net will stay there as well. Do I mind people using it for these kind of purposes? I'm not sure yet.
I keep the best designs 'at home' and I definitely don't clip them here.
I'm going to think about changing the way I clip items....Thanks all for attending me to this!
-
I also get 10 items . What do you mean when you say The Organizser in urstyle?
-
I use app on my Phone or Ipad.

I'm going to think about changing the way I clip items....I have issues and confusion with this, too. If we're supposed to create art using ONLY original work of our own, what's the point of UrStyle? We can do this on our own devices and not share it.
The Clipper was removed, likely due to copyright infringement issues, but there are so many websites offering free-to-use images that the Clipper would be quite handy for. Also, the fact that we can "Share" almost any image on almost any platform, including Pinterest, doesn't mean we should be helping ourselves to the artwork of others and altering it --- but does it mean that we should not ? Since the ability to download art from pretty much any website, alter it (or not), and then upload it onto UrStyle exists, then isn't it hypocritical of UrStyle to take away the Clipper, yet leave the ability to upload anything we wish?
We also must consider UrStyle's Terms of Service, part of which states:
"You understand that any items you import, and sets you create on the Website will be made available to the public. Further, you hereby grant us, our affiliates, and our partners a worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free, nonexclusive, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, create derivative works of, distribute, publicly perform, publicly display, transfer, transmit, distribute, and publish the sets you have created using the Website."So, once we upload an image, no matter who created it, UrStyle, their affiliates, and their worldwide partners claim the rights to it --- permanent rights--- to make copies, publicly display, and even sell imported images (which they cannot do legally) of the Sets we create and also claim rights to alter those Sets and do anything they want with the resulting art. For those members who create and upload original artwork, well, I wouldn't do it.
