Clipper not working for safari

Hi everyone, I've been using the clipper for google chrome for some time but I mostly use safari these days and wanted to use the clipper extension. However, the clipper stays on the login page even when I am 100% sure that my password is the correct one. Do I have to delete the google chrome extension or log out from the g.c extension? Or is it a recurrent problem?
