EXTREMELY slow loading, clipping, refresh

I just purchase a new computer which is really fast, and not bogged down with anything. Yet, it seems that in the last few weeks that:

1. Items I clip never show up, even after two or more attempts;
2. Going from page to page in MY ITEMS or LIKES loads soooooo slowly, or not at all
3. Saving a set can take a full minute or more to occur
4. Items take a long time to appear on a set from the point of clicking on them, and then they retain their background and do not "refresh" to transparent image
   Is it my computer? I tend to think not. So frustrating. I can barely create a one set in a matter of hours!
