Replying to comments on sets

@gypsy-jo I suppose basically what we are saying then is it needs to be fixed and everyone who has been replying to comments is in vain, only for it to go no-where it appears.

Well, at least we get a notification that we got a comment, and we can see on the set that we got comments. That way we know to go see what was said. It's just acknowledgment that is the problem.
I see every comment made on my sets. I could even acknowledge them. However, I'd be willing to bet that no one or very few come back just to see if I have acknowledged those comments, so I stopped doing it. I put a big thank you acknowledgment on my front page and left it at that. If they ever fix it, I'll go back and answer every single comment...no matter how long it takes. Until then, it just seems like a waste. (That's just me, and I hope no one is offended, the comments ARE appreciated)
The only comments, from what I can see, that are officially followed up are those here on the forum where you make a direct reply to someone specific or address them with the "@" symbol here on the forum.
That being said, I'd be willing to bet this issue is on the to-do list for URStyle. They take good care of us.

Yes. If I reply, the person I'm replying to gets no notification. They should at least have the Upvote or LIke feature to let others know we have read and appreciate their comment.

Yes, would love a feature so members know I have seen their sweet comments, I try to thank everyone, but wish I could heart their comments in appreciation, so they know I take the time to read them also.

@gypsy-jo Yes, you are probably right , Jo...... but I answer anyway!!!! This is probably a sad reflection on my ultra-organised mind, but it keeps it "tidy"!!! And if I see a set with an uneven number of comments, I know there must be a new one that I haven't noticed in the notifications! ..... does that make any kind of sense???!!!! Hee! Hee! Probably not

@auntiehelen Oh, gosh, no, that's not sad at all! I was just talking with FunkyJunkyGypsy today about how we both love organization, so I'm right there with you! I even feel bad that I don't answer the comments, but I never go back just to see if someone read mine, so I figure no one else does that either - why would they? The most we usually do is say thank you for the compliments we receive, which are lovely, but it's rare that we have "conversations" in our comment section...we don't get notified of replies, how could we?
And.....now I'm feeling bad for not answering my durned comments....blast it. Guess I better get started answering.

@gypsy-jo Sorry to make you feel bad !! Think of it this way, the next person who goes on to write a comment will see that you have replied to others and know that you are reading their comments !
