Items shifting after publishing set

  • { MMN }

    Does anyone else find that their items shift position slightly or change size once the set is published? The couple of times I've published, I've had to go back 837465 times to change the items back into their original place. It's especially annoying when I'm trying to create borders or shadows and stuff because it ruins the illusion lol.

    This never used to happen on Poly so IDK if this is a general urstyle issue or just glitches that happen occasionally? No matter how many times I go back to fix things, something always seems to be slightly out of place.

    @devilish yeah, it seems like everyone is having this problem! Here’s some things I have discovered:

    1. The shifting starts after you have around 10-20 items in the set

    2. It happens every time you hit undo

    3. It happens frequently when you come back to a saved set after refreshing or closing the webpage or otherwise reloading the set. Or, as I’m sure you’ve discovered, trying to edit a set after you’ve published it

    4. Saving back ups of the set and loading those back ups every time you come back to a set seems to help 85% of the time. I’ve had back ups shift before, but it’s not as

    I hope this helps! :)common

    @ayzrules Yep, it's the refreshing and the editing that does it, you're right. I'll be sure to try out your solution! It's good it's not just me, I was starting to think I was going crazy and just missing the fact that items were bizarrely off-center when I was creating the sets. Thanks, gal! 🙂

  • I've asked for a fix for that for sometime now. Remember with Polyvore we had a button where you could center everything before publishing? That would be real nice. I've gotten to the point that I try to finish the set because once you save it as a draft everything is off when you pull it back up.
