- Morgan was orphaned young and raised within her abusive uncle's household until the age of seventeen when she ran away.
- She was on the streets, mostly in the eastern part of the Lower Third, for months before she had a fateful run-in with Simon Yuwen- the head of his own crime syndicate, alongside his younger cousin, Arthur Yuwen.
- Mo fell in love with Simon very quickly, and he seemed to feel the same way. Despite the fact that he was a prolific drug-dealer and arms-trafficker, she was willing to do anything to remain with him in the Underground District.
- Or so she thought.
- Mo's deep feelings aside, there were several instances that caused her heart to waver- truly tested her devotion. The last straw was witnessing her beloved shoot and kill his own younger cousin, Arthur, when he discovered that the teenager was, in fact, lying about being a police informant. The boy died denying it- and right in front of Morgan, who was blood-spattered and shaking. Arthur had been as close to a little brother to her as she'd ever had-
- Following that, Simon became ever more suspicious and paranoid. He thought everyone could be like his cousin. He even believed Mo might be working with the police against him- and she ended up running in the dead of night after he'd put a gun to her head.
- It was enough. And Mo was so wracked with guilt over all of it, not just Arthur. She'd seen many awful things in her four years within Simon's gang.
- Mo knew there was nowhere in the city she could go where he could not find her. It seemed it was only a matter of time.
- Coincidentally, she found shelter at Enoch Tower with an old friend- one of Enoch's vigilantes, Dio Carmichael, who had been staying there at the time. He, too, had known the Yuwens and was devestated to learn that Arthur was gone.
- It was Dio who introduced Mo to Enoch at the Estate (which was an awkward first meeting due to the fact that Mo was almost 100% sure her old friend had joined a cult and was now attempting to get her to join too)- and from there, everything happened rather quickly.
- She's a fast learner to begin with, but Mo was already somewhat of a handy fighter thanks to Simon who had taken great care to teach her some useful martial arts in case of an emergent situation.
- As far as the occult stuff, she likes to rely on her own strength for now however tempting it may be. She can't shake the feeling those texts give her- it's so strange and almost causes her teeth to chatter. It's a little unpleasant to say the least.
- Mo, finding herself suddenly on the side of "order", is still trying to process her own motivations.
- Simon is still out there looking for her, she knows it. He still waits for her in her nightmares- and so does Arthur, the boy she couldn't save even though she was standing right there.

ʟɪᴋᴇꜱ . the chinese bodega ("Baodega") in chinatown (eggplant with garlic sauce, scallion pancakes, steamed shrimp crystal dumplings, fried dough, peking duck burger, spring rolls, spicy glass noodes, etc.), swedish massages, mmorpg video games, trashy reality tv, the smell of burnt rubber and gasoline, cats, iced chai lattes, tattoos, raw and unfiltered conversation
ᴅɪꜱʟɪᴋᴇꜱ . small-talk and forced niceties, cops, politicians, surveillance in general, fakes and liarsꜱᴛʏʟᴇ . Typical of the Underground District, Mo's mostly drawn to black strappy leather and latex. (In spite of Simon's best efforts, she never really took to the boring designer looks typical of a well-off young master's woman. The expensive jewels are another story, though.) Aesthetically, she falls somewhere between dark utility and moody mall goth.
ᴘᴇʀꜱᴏɴᴀʟ ᴘᴏꜱꜱᴇꜱꜱɪᴏɴꜱ . An orange stuffed tiger given to her by Simon on their first date (her surname means "tiger"), an unopened box of nicotine patches given to her by Arthur (he didn't her to smoke anymore for her health)
ꜱᴛʀᴏɴɢᴇꜱᴛ ᴄʜᴀʀᴀᴄᴛᴇʀ ᴛʀᴀɪᴛ . Guarded
ᴍᴀɴɴᴇʀɪꜱᴍꜱ . Mo has a sort of mysterious charm- she's keenly observant with an unfiltered mouth and an intense gaze. Which would be off-putting were she not capable of mixing a bit of guile into all of her social interactions. Doesn't do small-talk and can't really do surface-level shit in her relationships. Either you're her people or you're very much not. Deeply loyal (definitely to a fault) and fiercely protective what's hers. In spite of all of these things, she's usually the first to propose peace. Actually, she feels violence doesn't suit her- you know, spiritually. Pain and suffering aren't things she can easily stomach, even while her days with the Yuwens were marked with endless horrors. It was loyalty that kept her in place for so long. Mo's got a few years of martial arts training under her belt thanks to her ex's careful training, so she's therefore light on her feet and quick to move when necessary. She can sneak up on others without really meaning to.
ᴍᴏꜱᴛ ʟɪᴋᴇʟʏ ᴘʟᴀᴄᴇꜱ ᴛᴏ ʙᴇ ꜰᴏᴜɴᴅ . The Enoch Tower penthouse (as she's in hiding from Simon Yuwen and his gang, she doesn't go out much during the day unless she's summoned to the estate for some reason) and by night, on the city streets for patrol.
ᴍᴏꜱᴛ ʟɪᴋᴇʟʏ ᴘᴇᴏᴘʟᴇ ᴛᴏ ʙᴇ ᴡɪᴛʜ . Dio Carmichael (her old friend who brought her into the vigilante group) for the most part, but she can hang with just about anyone in the group outside of Kye Arjona and Sarafima Blackmoor. (Arjona's a wannabe cop, in her opinion, and he throws his weight around like one even though he couldn't cut it. If the two are in the same room for too long, they come close to a fistfight every time. As for Sarafima, the Blackmoor name leaves a bad taste in Mo's mouth.)
