How important are low trading fees when choosing a crypto exchange?

I'm often making multiple trades per day, and sometimes the cumulative effect of trading fees really adds up. It makes me wonder just how much emphasis other traders place on low trading fees when they're selecting a crypto exchange. Is it a top priority for you, or do other factors like security, liquidity, or the range of available assets outweigh the cost of fees? I'm trying to figure out if I should be putting more effort into finding exchanges with the absolute lowest fees, or if my current focus on overall reliability is sufficient.
