Fitness and boxing any suggestions on beginner gear?

  • Hi all! I recently started throwing boxing into my fitness routine and now want to buy some proper training gear. I’m especially interested in stuff that’s high-quality and comfortable. What should I look for in good fitness boxing gear?

  • Hi, I started adding some light boxing into my fitness routine not long ago and was also trying to figure out what gear actually makes sense for beginners. While checking different opinions I ended up reading a thread on http://forum.446.s1.nabble.com/Looking-for-advice-on-choosing-the-right-training-gloves-td110283.html and it seems most people recommend starting with comfortable gloves, basic wraps, and a simple jump rope until you get more experience.

  • If I were you, I would rather start with a medical checkup and tests. Look at me, for example. For a long time I'd had problems with muscle growth. When I was in UAE for holidays, I heard of a clinic from my buddies, and tests showed that I needed IV therapy in addition to the right diet and good sleep. At first I doubted, thinking what some vitamins have to do with my muscle, but the results were surprising!

  • Hey, welcome to boxing—it's an awesome full-body workout! For beginner gear, go for 14-16oz gloves with good wrist support, a solid jump rope, and comfortable hand wraps. Pairing it with better nutrition has helped my recovery—some real users discuss meal planning apps in this Reddit section: https://unimeal-review.com/reddit/. Definitely helpful for fueling those sessions properly!
