In the real world, Lythe's a Trinity Washington University student as well as a dog-walker. She shares a metropolitan apartment with two roommates who disdain her and their two cats.
These days, DOOM RIDER is the only "hobby" for which she cares to make time... At least, that's the reason her boyfriend cited when he broke up with her. (That, and she may have lost her temper at him over the way he chews, resulting in a charcuterie board frisbeed at his shin in the middle of a mutual friend's fancy engagement party. But, to be fair, he baited her into the row.)
Look, Lythe might be a "demanding" person with no real friends, but that's neither here nor there when it comes to DR. Adept racing skills are what counts, not people skills. And, after all, Lythe is quite good at DR--she just made Nobilitas within the last year and was able to get together her own NPC-run garage.
And she has a small group of fans...which is kind of similar to friends...
Whatever. At least she's not universally-hated as her archnemesis Charley Chen, aka chevvaliernoir.
Charley Chen was in one of her very first DR circuit races--he was already levels ahead of her--and the first thing he does is ram her off circuit into certain death, destroying her very first Doombuggy...and putting her behind in levels for weeks as she tried to scrape together enough Wit to purchase a new ride.
Next time they faced one another, Lythe demanded an apology (which, all right, was maybe a bit much as crashes happen every second in DR but she was at her boiling point already that day), to which Chen responded with a pair of rigid double middle fingers and caustic laughter.
There was nothing else for it. Lythe drove her new Doombuggy full-speed into his ride, totalling it, just before the race...costing him dearly, apparently, as their next encounter he seethed through his teeth that he had every intention of taking the cost "out of her ass"--his whole body was vibrating with wrath, threatening to spontaneously ignite...which was hugely funny to Lythe. A win in her book.
But, of course, Chen meant what he said. And his supporters (though they are few) were just as indignant as he was towards Lythe.
Smash-cut to her experiencing insane glitches in the game over and over- her coinage disappearing as soon as she earned it and so on. Turns out evil draws evil, and Chen's fanboys were causing all the glitches manipulating the game on the outside. Lythe reported them, and the glitches stopped. Chen never did, though. His fanboys never admitted to doing it all for him so he was never booted from the game.
Chen evidently has nothing better to do than cause Lythe trouble when the mood strikes him. Lythe's sure he wants to drive her off, but she's way too stubborn for that.
He'll simply have to watch her catch up in levels and eventually overtake him...and get sponsors to boot (something he's yet to manage, unmarketable and generally regpugnant as he and his supporters are).
Recently, though, it seems like Chen's been slipping mentally. He doesn't mess with her as much as he used to; instead, he's been sending her strange in-game items and notes. Lythe doesn't know what he means by it, but it's got her plenty paranoid something awful is brewing.
If he dares come after her imprinted Doombuggy, Pallas, God himself could not spare him from her swift retribution.

ᴄʜᴀʀᴀᴄᴛᴇʀ ᴅᴇꜱᴄʀɪᴘᴛɪᴏɴ . Lythe's rapunzelvore persona is something of a "white" wizardess, in that she only wears white or silver (or very pale blue) and long detail-obscuring veils (often with horns beneath for some shape and fuckery). She keeps her eyes wholly white but her hair remains as dark as it is in the real world. Baby horns on her forehead and various cyber-sigil tattoos on her face and body- and, naturally, pointed ears. (Lythe forgoes wings as an option just because they're unwieldy. Though she does like the look of them on others.)

ꜱᴋɪʟʟꜱ . Lythe's level is advanced enough so she has a good grasp on her PM at this point. She has successfully imprinted on Pallas and the auto responds fairly well to her will. Where Lythe lacks is her extra-racing abilities as, in the beginning, it never felt imperative to her to hone those things; she only ever worried about being a formidable racer. However, only recently, she is looking to give full-on Flight a bash and is actively looking for a Black Tome in order to hone her Plague ability as well.

ɪɴᴠᴇɴᴛᴏʀʏ . 2,ooo Wit (for the moment), metal driving gauntlets (panache), ChocoNitro (x 3) (health drink), Fuzzy Dice (kept in Doombuggy but still technically an "Inventory" item), Combatchain ("heavy" weapon whose head morphs from spiked ball to spearhead and so on), white powder grenades (x 4) (harmless, used for escapes), black chalk (x 4) (for creating "save point zones" anywhere on the ground), Zipp (yummy in-game drink)

ꜱᴛʏʟᴇ . While Lythe's in-game persona is a white wizardess-slash-daemoness, outside of the game, she's got the whole grungy goth thing going on. She does like a good baggy plaid button-up and low-waisted cargos, mini backpacks and platform sneakers for the goth edge. She also wears glasses as she refuses to wear contacts (she has a thing about touching her eyes). She also has a few nose piercings and an eyebrow piercing. Skateboard glued under her arm if she's not riding it, baby bangs and a neck tat of chrome Kuromi etc.

ʟɪᴋᴇꜱ . long nails, grey/white/silver, gaming, daily planners (which she uses for list-making and strange little tattoo doodles), gaining the upperhand (a rush that cannot be beat), strange and/or off-putting cinema, the local cybercafé, comfy clothes (irl), skateboarding, DR racing, video games in general but mostly the Japanese horror genre and the like, Sanrio, Mazzy Star, tattoos, piercings, The Silent Hill franchise (she was a Puppet Nurse three Halloweens in a row), rodentia (she owns some mice and had a pair of Guinea Pigs in teh past), boba tea, convenience store slushies and hotdogs, pretty boys and tall women with tattoos (...or short women without tattoos...and older women...really, just women), Teague Morcant (of whom Lythe is a huge fangirl), Halloween, raves

ᴅɪꜱʟɪᴋᴇꜱ . her glasses (but she's afraid to use contacts), losing, attempting a new thing only to fail at it, Charley Chen (with whom she holds a massive grudge), fish (~stinky~), pop music (Spice Girls being the sole exception), being idle, coffee, having to explain herself (telepaths only), players who don't know what the hell they're doing on the circuit, crashing (whatever you do to her babies, she will want to return in kind to your face), people who can't seem to listen, did I mention CHARLEY FucKING CHEN??? (Lythe's an avid anti- people say he's hot ??? /vom), shitty drivers (in or out of DR)

ᴘᴇʀꜱᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ . Multi-faceted, sometimes at odds with the expected. Fiercely competitive with a dramatic flare- but also deeply nurturing (a mother figure without knowing it). Obsessive about organization and planning, analytical and detail-oriented which has led to a good deal of stress in her life- both in and out of the game. Her perfectionism is definitely the reason for a few friendship schisms- she's learned being "nit-picky" is apparently an unforgivable sin, but she just wants things the way she wants them. She can also be easily hurt, which she can't stand about herself. Besides, she's always and forever accidentally hurting others with her demanding personality. This is largely why she tends to cling to patient and extraordinarily forgiving people. No one else will deal with her anyway.

ꜱᴛʀᴏɴɢᴇꜱᴛ ᴄʜᴀʀᴀᴄᴛᴇʀ ᴛʀᴀɪᴛ . Difficult

ᴍᴏꜱᴛ ʟɪᴋᴇʟʏ ᴛᴏ ʙᴇ ꜰᴏᴜɴᴅ . In the game, definitely either at her garage located in the Ninth Circle or racing. Out of the game, either in class, the local cybercafé, walking/skateboarding with clients' dogs or sleeping.
ᴍᴏꜱᴛ ʟɪᴋᴇʟʏ ᴛᴏ ʙᴇ ᴡɪᴛʜ . Uhh...roommates (very seldomly) or classmates. In-game...no one in particular. NPCs, maybe, if they count...?
