♡ Before becoming a kpop trainee, Taylor was training to become a professional dancer in New York and even appeared a couple of times in Broadway shows as an ensemble member. She only decided to audition for YG Entertainment in 2014 when her best friend invited her to the audition, however, Taylor was the only of the two to pass the audition
♡ Tay trained in YG for 3 years and even joined the pre-debut lineup for PinkPunk (which would later become BlackPink), her role during training was of the Main Dancer and Rapper, however, she got cut from the lineup and ended up moving companies to Solstice Media. She still keeps in touch with the BlackPink members and other former YGE girls, famously being Rosé's best friend
♡ She is naturally left handed but has taught herself how to use both hands with good strength as she learned to play the drums in her free time, making her an ambidextrous. Tay has mentioned she has tried to do her signature with her right hand to see if she can but it doesn't come out as pretty as when she uses her left hand

For this reason, she joined the survival show 'Girls Front' in 2020 where she got the chance to showcase her abilities aside from only dancing. Gathering lots of popularity through the run of the show and even if she didn't make the final group's lineup, she gathered many new fans as well as proved herself worthy of her spot in the group
