"little sister"
spela was on her deathbed having attempted suicide by poison following her forced mortal marriage
as she lay writhing in pain, surrounded by flickering taper candles (wedding gifts from her parents) and bouquets of sowy-white easter lilies, she witnessed a black shade enter her bedroom from the chiminey flue- the shade became a great winged beast- a devil come to take her to the pits of hell for her sins, she was sure-
it was long enough ago that she hardly remembers what came next other than the torturous pain that comes along with turning...the body's death...
with her new eyes, the first thing spela recalls witnessing were the faces of her two beloved sister-brides- nepheti and miliza.
spela was grateful for her new freedom from life- having grown up in a strict orthodox household, beneath the thumbs of her parents and several older brothers, her first time hunting with her sister brides was her very first time outside at night. her first time dissolving into a fit of laughter, a fit of dancing-
nepheti used to say that, in those early days, spela seemed to be starivng in a way she'd never before seen. so often she had to be dragged away from drained corpses kicking and screaming as if she were prepared to unhinge her jaw to eat them whole.
spela was attached to each of the hips of her sister brides from the the get-go, and when they all went their separate ways following the death of their sire, she went to london (not wishing to stay where they had been happiest together) and sunk into a depression- she slept and hunted without anything in between for nearly forty years. Alone.
things are different now, of course. instrumental to her turn-around was being reunited with her miliza and nepheti in the states. the next was getting into taking familiars to faithfully accompany her through the ages.
the latest in a long line of forgettable little slaves is a rather stoic young man simply called "sang"- a former military man, allegedly.
what started as good clean teasing for spela's own twisted amusement has taken amn unexpected turn as she's quite obsessed with the mortal where he seems to be rather ambivalent about his mistress.
miliza makes endless fun of her for her bizarre little crush. says she finds it both cute and gross. "just eat him, you little shit. you'll feel better!"
spela has taken to nepheti's circuit noctimania in secret due to her over-protective sister brides (they still, at her old age, treat her like a baby!). nepheti in particular has warned her to stay off the track as the races have proven to be deadly.
even her familiar does not care for her involvement in the circuit noctimania- which is not a deterrent for her, by the way. spela loves getting a response of any kind out of sang. however, he claims he only dislikes it because if she dies, he will never get to be a vampire.
but she's a damn good racer. in fact, the only reason the circuit is so deadly . . . is because of spela.

𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 & 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦𝐬 • engergetic . charming . uninhibited . shallow (with fleeting instances of compassion) . hasty . free . outspoken . demanding . an eternal student of ~~life~~ death . forgetful . adaptable . irresponsible (but rarely) . embracing . sportive/frolicsome . not an airhead (she just thinks it's ~cute~)

𝐋𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐬 • circuit racing, shiny vroom-vroom motorcycles(!!), Nepheti & Miliza, Sang ("~saaaang~"), mindless putrigram scrolling before falling asleep in her coffin, walking sticks (which she believes gives her an imperial air- Miliza whacks her in the bottom with it whenever she gets the opportunity :c), dollhouses (of which she has many), getting out into the city at night (she's made all of her familiars take her to the zoo hundreds of times since arriving in NYC- and at night, which requires some...sneaking), the Central Park Zoo and New York Aquarium, wild animals (kin, as far as spela is concerned), reckless driving, ruthless sport, big cats, spiky/prickly accessories, music for which to rip a grown man apart

𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐬 • Stercus Hall (stuffy), feet-dragging, lollygagging--"for Pit's sake, pick up the pace!", confinement, thunderstorms, no company to take-in her endless prattling, same-old-same-old, silence (which is one reason vampire hearing is a plus for her- there's always something alive and humming nearby~), a distinct lack of vroom-vroom time ( :c ), tedious hogwash, talking shit out of one's mouth (men, in her experience, love doing this), smalllll talk, pearls, academics (see: talking shit out of one's mouth)

𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞{𝐬} 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 • Central Park Zoo(by night), taking in a circuit race--if not /in the circuit race (but no one's supposed to know that she's "Nero"), Third Circle (naturally, but also she's envious of Miliza's dancing/showmanship), wandering the catacombs (the bitch is so expansive, in all her years living there, Spela knows she has yet to find its end), and the Blackhole (swim cavern)

𝐁𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠{𝐬} 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 • Sang, almost exclusively, as her sister brides are busy little wenches. And Spela has a spare retinue these days since the on-taking of Sang as her familiar. (She's decided to hoard him and his attention whether he likes it or not.)
