rin was already close to chowon as they both had attended Halim entertainment and arts high school. the two had always been in the same class so when they became desk buddies they naturally became close. rin had attended all the live performances when chowon appeared on produce 48 in support just as chowon had appeared at both of rins debut showcases. chowon later introduced her to the rest of 02' line sangah and nayoung who she instantly clicked with
