- miliza's sire is actually a eunuch (chief harem eunuch) who she befriended in her time as an odalisque. where he had meant to free her from the harem by way of turning her, she actually turned around and betrayed him to the sultan in order to secure a position of power within the harem
- as a result, her sire was forced to burn in the sun's light.
- meanwhile, miliza was training the sultan about her small finger, quickly becoming his favourite (which miliza delighted in rubbing in the faces of those who mistreated her).
- the sultan, being her largest enemy, however, as she was still technically enslaved by him, met his end at her hands before she escaped (and, as a last thought, "freed" the other enslaved people by turning them into vampires, which resulted in the complete slaughter and demise of an entire sultanate).
- miliza caught the count's dark eye some time in the mid-1600's while she was performing as a dancer in a mortal-run traveling carnival. the carnival came to bucharest, where the count and his bride, nepheti, were enjoying a blood-gorged holiday away from the estate
- vlad was instantly mesmerised, of course, and swept miliza away from her life in the dregs of mortal society, to become a queen of the night by his and nepheti's sides.

- miliza has always been an entertainer and a sultry dancer to boot, and so apart from being instrumental in the building of nyc's vampiric underworld, she's also been key in the development of it's own brand of dark and forbidden amusements.
- one of the third circle nightclub's attractions is its threatening yet hypnotic blood-covered dancers suspended above the dance floor in cages, swings or platforms or on the stage in tanks of blood ("blood-sirens", miliza has coined these dancers for their haunting mermaid-like parallels).
- miliza is the club's star attraction- a dancer who performs in freshest blood and always on a euphoric blood-high.
- her admirers are legion. and she remains one of the more popular figures on the supernatural version on instagram- Putrigram (tm).
- she likes a good deal of flash- a lot of whispering and side-eyeing. yes, she likes to be talked about and envied. (just look at her flashy little sports car, which she never drives as its tucked away in a car park topside.)
- miliza the devourer, they called her once- and how right they were ! no one sucks the marrow of un-life the way she does, no one gobbles the hearts of their lovers while in tears the way she does or dances people to insanity like she-
- the rub of it all comes next- when miliza sires what she thought was a familiar on the edge of death in the catacombs- and quickly discovers this familiar was not mortal to begin with but a werewolf. and the very action of creating a hybrid is punishable by death . . . a law laid down by her own sister bride, nepheti.
- miliza might destroy the beast herself . . . if she can locate it somewhere deep in the catacombs before someone else does.

- a judas by all definitions
- has a complex for being tied down and saw her life as a bride as yet another entrapment...while also being an opportunity for her greatest seize of influence and glory yet, as what is more glorious than taking down the vampire king himself?
- would sacrifice centuries of her life to play the long, insidious game to finally destroy dracula... especially in a manner which would keep her fellow brides from ever uncovering the deceit
- has the face of an angel and a black heart of a witch that would destroy anything in her path
- planted seeds all over the world that would lead van helsing to become the beast who destroyed him for good
