The "Cherry Bomb Rainbow" Through the Years
-
Hey there! I wanted to make a casual post reminiscing one thing I've been doing since the beginning through multiple eras and stages and that is... ba bam! Something I like to call the "Cherry Bomb Rainbow" nowadays it's not unheard that within groups, each member has a representative color and in the case of Cherry Bomb it's something that has been included in many occasions. Their representative colors are the following:
Hana: Green, Umi: Blue, Alicia: Purple, Tori: Pink, Pandora: Orange, Tay: Yellow.
They often times will use their colors in any variation and when the stage or event prevents them from it, it's very likely the color will be changed for a shade of red.
1. "Love Court" Era: The very first iteration of the group rainbow is in their debut promotions! Each girl having a different style and color that still matched well overall with the song and their group!
2. "Steal My Heart" Era: The second instance of this happened during their comeback with the "Heart" Mini album! With these plaid outfits, there was a fun and youthful version of their colors for the second time. Combined with white accessories and matching shoes, this is definitely a stage to remember!
3. "Beauty" Era: While the group promoted their title track, there was also a special stage with Red Velvet's song "Power Up" which showcased the rainbow in combinations with white items and shoes as they performed together on stage with a cute aura surrounding them
4. SMA 2020: For their red carpet looks, each member wore a dress with their respective color! This was around the "When We Were Us" era and many fans enjoyed the looks that, although differing from one another, still managed to suit each girl well individually
5. "UH-HUH" Special Stage: In this special stage of their b-side, the group showcases their "girl crush" style while incorporating flawlessly their own colors into the mix.
6. "La Magie" Era: The next time we would see the rainbow is during their magical and ethereal stages as they wore fancy dresses and tiaras to accompany their looks. This variation of the rainbow includes the members switching colors with one another through one another randomly, with Umi and Tori being the only ones without changing at all
7. "Happy Days" Era: One of the most recent iterations of the colorful looks happened in their Japanese debut as they transform into cute and pretty cheerleaders to cheer you up and fill you with energy
8. "Night Aria" Era: Now, last but not least is their final stage in their sixth mini album "The Grand Opera" each girl wearing eccentric and glamorous dresses combined with matching white boots and multiple accessories to elevate their looks!
Which iteration is your favorite so far? Let me know in the comments!
