SNDL(Girls) (소녀들; formerly known as Hi-Five) is a four-member girl group under My Beat Entertainment. Originally, they debuted on November 30, 2020 with their first single album "Ending Scene”.

History:

Pre-debut

→On September 1,2019, Hi-Works Entertainment dropped a music video by Hi-L Girls called “Feel Like This” (Feat. Eric Nam)” the Hi-L Girls lineup consisted of four female trainees under the company who would later be revealed as Hwi-A, Léa ,Kyung-Joo and Haerin.

→On September 26,2019, Hi-L Girls Hwi-A was featured in Kyung Park’s “Ordinary Love” music video and Haerin was featured on ICanSeeYourVoice [ICanSeeYourVoice] Ex JYP, Woorim of Playback’s Stage EP.07

→On September 26,2019, Hi-Works Entertainment dropped the music video called “WE ARE LEGENDARY(위아레전더리)”in collaboration with Legendary Game of Heroes featuring Hi-L Girls .

→On July 22, 2020, an article published by Star News revealed that Hi-Works Entertainment would be debuting their first rookie girl group during the second half of 2020; it was also stated that popular trainees Moon Haerin and Jeong Hwi Yeong (Hwi-A), who are also artists under the label, would be included in the group. Later that same day, Hi-Works Entertainment confirmed the plans to debut the group but however left no comment regarding Haerin and Hwi Yeong's inclusion.

→On October 1, the group's official SNS accounts were opened along with the reveal of their name "Hi-Five" and the motion video of their logo. On October 2, the next day, a Naver article was published reporting that the group will be made up of four members and that previously revealed members Haerin and Hwi Yeong are to be included.

→On October 2, Hwi-A, was officially announced as the group's first member followed by Léa on October 3,Haerin on October 4 and, Kyung Joo on October 5

2020: Debut with “Ending Scene”, fandom name & "First Snow"

→It was later revealed that the group will be debuting on November 30, 2020.Two days later, it was announced the group would debut with their first single album, titled “Ending Scene”, the single also featured the b-side track "Hi Five".

→On January19, 50 days after the group's debut, Hi-Five announced their official fandom name to be "Hive". The name, which was chosen from a list of over 1,000 entries by fans, is a combination of Hi and "VE", meaning "Together with Hi-Five" or "We will always stand with Hi-Five."

→On December 3,the group announced they will be coming back with a special Christmas single "First Snow".

2021: "Taxi Driver", first music show win, "Blank Page", official colors,"Kissing U"

→Hi-Five made their first comeback on May 23, with the digital single "Taxi Driver".

→On May 31, Hi-Five achieved their first music show win with the song "Taxi Driver" on SBS's The Show.

→The group released their second special single, "Blank Page", on July 21 it was the girls first fan song.The meaning of the song was to not wait on the members for a comeback because in time they will be there to support hive when they call. When this was released at the time there were many doubts on whether the girls would remain a group as they hadn’t had a proper comeback and the members themselves talked on V Live about how they wished to perform on stage again.

“Blank Page”(S.I.S - Don’t wait)

→On November 3, Hi-Five released their official colors, #ABF8E7 and #8778C7. Five days later, Hi-Works Entertainment announced that the group was preparing for an early December comeback with a new album with all past special tracks and a new song titled "Kissing U". On December 10, the agency released a timetable for their Christmas special album 'One Step'.

2022–present: Label, Rebranding from Hi-Five, "Starry Night", "Time for Me", Debut with Girlish Charm

→ On January 1, 2022, it was announced in an official statement that the group would be transferred from Hi-Works Entertainment to My Beat Entertainment

→ On January 21, 2022, Léa confirmed that Hi-Five was preparing for a comeback through the vlive 'Karaoke w/Léa', teasers were dropped the following day

→MWAH was revealed to be a contestant on Prismatic Camp as a trainee representing My Beat Entertainment. On January 6, 2021 she finished the competition in 5th place, thus becoming a member of Reignbow

→ On January 25, 'Starry Night' music video was released along with a week of promotions

"Starry Night" (DIA - Hug U)

→Mwah debuted in the 7-member project group, ‘Reignbow’ on February 4, 2022 with the mini-album After School and its title track, "Sweet Love" as the Vocal, Rapper, and Dancer.

→On May 5th, 2022, Reignbow disbanded after their special contract was concluded on May,5th,2022. Then, Eunji returned to My Beat as a trainee. Shortly after My Beat Entertainment announced the idol was preparing to join in a four-member girl group

→On September 12, 2022, My Beat Entertainment released a statement the group would disband after the release of their new single 'Time for me", to re-debut as the rebranded group, SNDL Girls with prismatic camp contestant MWAH as member Kyung-Joo chose to not resign to focus on her acting career .

→On September 19, 'Time for me's music video was released

→On October 10, all Hi-Five social changed to SNDL, Later that same day, a teaser photo with the caption "I Am More Than The Girl" and hashtags #newstart #storygoeson #sndl was posted on their new SNS handles, indicating a new start for the group. Three days later, Hwi-A was revealed as the group's first member. On October 14, 2022, MWAH was revealed as the group's second member, followed by Léa on the 15th, Haerin on the 16th

→On November 14, SNDL released the music video "Goodbye" as a pre-release for their upcoming first mini album, followed by their second pre-release "Loving" on November 15 and a performance video "Locked In" on November 16.
