First Round of "Fallin' Love" Promotions

  • Unlike other eras, Cherry Bomb is participating in more YouTube content than before. Currently having 3 videos from the same day and upcoming video for August 23rd.

    1. What's the concept of the album?

    Tay: Our concept this time is, as the single name suggests, a Summer of Love! The songs are fresh, brights and lively for the summer with tints of love in every note~ There's also a connection with our debut track "Love Court" as we've finally decided to stop wondering what love might be and we're ready to jump into love.

    1. Is there an artist you want to collaborate with?

    Hana: I would like to collab with Moonland's Taeyeon! She has a really ethereal and beautiful aura that I like a lot! Her voice is also super pretty so I'd love to give it a try

    Alicia: I'm very intrigued by ZODIAQUE although they haven't debuted yet so I'd like to collab with them as well! I feel like they're bringing something new to the table and it's so so interesting. Mel-nim is my bias too haha~ Call me~

    1. If you had a skincare item "item of your life", what would it be?

    Tori: For me, I really like trying new perfumes and I always carry a small bottle with a fragrance so maybe perfume?

    Alicia: For me it's lip balm (Umi: Oh, me too) My lips are very delicate so I have to keep them well hydrated at all times

    1. Is there a favorite song from this album?

    Pandora: Asides from our title, I really really like "Hold Me Tight" (Everyone: Ohhh) I feel like we could showcase our vocals well and the choreography is really fun so I always have fun while performing it

    Tori: I agree! "Hold Me Tight" is the best (thumbs up)

    Umi: Mine is "Love Bubble" it's really cute and it gives me a fluffy feeling whenever I listen to it.

    Q. Who's most likely to forget choreography mid-performance?
    Answer: Pandora

    Umi: Chaeyeon is good at singing but I remember we were at an event and after her high note she just stood there for some extra 10 seconds instead of coming back to her spot

    Pandora: I felt so proud of that high note too. I even turned around when I didn't see anyone and rapidly went to my spot

    Tori: All of us minus Pandora had backgrounds in dancing one way or another so it must be hard (Pandora nods)

    Q. Who's most likely to nail a choreography the quickest?
    Answer: Tay

    Hana: I'm always surprised by Tay because she can watch a choreography only one time and immediately has an idea on how to do it

    Tay: It usually takes me about 2 hours to learn a full choreography with details that I'm certain I won't miss but I usually pay a lot of attention so learning choreographies is not that complex for me

    Pandora: Many times we've had Tay's help for the choreography and she's even partaken in creating choreographies for us. I would say Tay is probably the most rounded dancer among us

    Tori: As expected of our Dancing Machine

    Q. Who's the most likely to forget a lyric mid-performance?
    Answer: All

    Alicia: It's not that we forget it at all times but since we have so many schedules and songs, I think like anyone could forget a lyric

    Tori: Some of us have modeling, producing, acting, MCing or DJing asides from our regular schedules too, so for some of our older tracks I think we could make a mistake there due to being tired

    Hana: Still, I think we're all doing a good job as it's not something that happens often. We give our all every promotion and I think it pays off well

    Q. Who's most likely found at the gym?
    Answer: Umi

    Umi: Recently I've started doing Pilates and using the gym much more often because I want to keep my body in shape and it helps me when I feel my mind troubled

    Tay: Do you have your mind troubled a lot? You've been going a lot more lately

    Umi: No, that's not it. (chuckles) I just feel like it's a healing experience for me. It's the time that I can be on my own and just exercise

    Hana: If there was a competition, I would say she has the "Best Body". She's already super pretty, she has long legs and cares a lot for her body with exercise and food too. Umi is my role model in that sense

    Q. Who's most likely to ghost the groupchat?
    Answer: Umi & Tori

    Alicia: Why is it always the lovebirds I wonder~~?

    Tori: In my defense, I am always playing Love Live! or Superstar games on my phone whenever we have free time. They're so much fun and I just enjoy them so so much, if they need to tell me something important, I know they would call

    Umi: I usually don't talk much in general so I try to use the emojis and stickers as much as I can

    Pandora: So cute our Woomini~

    Q.Who's the most likely to be caught napping?
    Answer: Hana

    Alicia: Our fans don't know this but Hana loves to take naps all the time. She sleeps in our car, she sleeps on the couch, she sleeps in the waiting room. There's not a single place I haven't seen her sleeping

    Tay: One time I saw her sleeping while standing in our MV recording set

    Hana: No~ I wasn't sleeping then, I just rested my eyes for a bit

    Tay: Is that right? I could sworn I almost hear you snore and fall down

    Hana: I don't remember that happening but I'll trust in you this time unnie

    Q. Who's most likely to make you laugh at any given time?
    Answer: Alicia

    Pandora: Our own meme girl Ally

    Tori: Alicia is not only funny but she is also very energetic so whenever she sets her mind into making someone's day brighter, she really comes and bursts out with a funny joke or just a funny gesture

    Hana: There was a time in which I was really really sad but Alicia stuck next to me and made me laugh so much that it made even my heart feel warm and cozy

    Alicia: Oh really? (Hana nods) Wow, thank you~ I'll continue being the variety queen Liseu then~

    1. How would you describe Cherry Bomb in 3 words?
    Tori: "Only three? We have many we could use"
    Alicia: "Worldwide, Star, Talent" (chuckles)
    Tay: (shyly) "Don't forget beautiful too"
    Pandora: "Oh, I like that one. So it could be Talent, Beauty and Worldwide?"
    Hana: "What about Loud? We never keep quiet" (everyone laughs)
    Pandora: "Then Talent, Beauty and Loud"

    2. If you weren't making music what would you be doing?
    Umi: "Music Teacher"
    Pandora: "But that one has music in it, doesn't it?"
    Umi: "Yes, but I wouldn't be the one making it" (giggles)
    Pandora: "Oh, that's right"
    Tori: "For me it's simple, I would've been a Ballerina"
    Tay: "I wanted to have a Dance Studio so maybe that"
    Hana: "I'd be a Makeup Model, I had so much fun when I did it last time"
    Alicia: "I think I would've kept acting or maybe had a YouTube Channel?"
    Pandora: "Ah! I was gonna say the same. Acting or YouTube Channel" (both high five)

    3. What's your favorite thing to do together besides making music?
    Alicia: "We do so many things together." (Hana: "True, true") "But maybe watching shows on Netflix"
    Tori: "That's right~~ We have many shows and dramas that we watch together whenever we have a free moment and when we can't watch it together, we just end up watching it on our own and then spamming the chat"
    Tay: "It gets to the point where you HAVE to watch it or you'll get spoiled really intensely" (Everyone laughs)
    Pandora: "Well at least it keeps us distracted and we can bond over it so it's not bad"

    4. What made you want to be in a kpop group?
    Hana: "I had fun singing and dancing and being able to share the experience with someone else rather than on my own"
    Umi: "Yeah, I like how Kpop groups have both singing and dancing in a high level because groups in Japan usually separate the two into different categories so I find the combo a really attractive option"
    Tori: "Wonder Girls"
    Hana: "Wonder Girls?" (raises an eyebrow)
    Tori: "I saw them on concert with the Jonas Brothers and thought they were really really cool so I wanted to give it a try"

    5. What was something your fans did that made you happy?
    Pandora: "When we had been saying how much we missed All-Ones during our unexpected hiatus in 2019, they made a project with 25.000 All-Ones from all over the world in which they danced, made signs with encouraging words and left messages for us and it really touched my heart. I was really scared for our future back then but they poured their hearts for us and it's a moment I treasure dearly"

    6. What's a song that always cheers you up?
    Hana: "Pretty Pretty. It puts me in a good mood whenever I need a boost!"
    Tori: "A.C.E's Clover" (Everyone: "Oooh~") "It's a really cute and sweet song so I listen to it almost daily to have a happier day"
    Pandora: "I've been listening a lot to our song Love Bubble because it's refreshing" (Everyone sings Love Bubble's chorus)
    Umi: "Of course, also Fallin' Love makes my days more cheerful"
    Hana: "Ah yes, yes"
    Alicia: "A woman of taste I see"

    7. What was your favorite performance?
    Tay: "We've had many cool performances but I personally really enjoyed our Online Concert, all the stages were done really well and it's always fun to look back at the concert and see how we can improve for a future concert"
    Alicia: "It was really tiring to prepare for the comeback because it happened right after promotions so we were very packed but seeing the result was definitely worth it and (thumbs up) I'd definitely do it again"

    8. What's your favorite food?
    Tori: "Bibimbap"
    Pandora: "We all have different tastes but for me it's Korean Barbecue"
    Hana: "Bingsoo is my favorite"
    Alicia: "This is a bit controversial but I really like Pineapple Pizza..."
    Tori: "Actually, we all do."
    Umi: "It's not as bad as people make it seem"
    Tay: "All-One, sorry~"

    9. Who are your favorite kpop groups?
    Pandora: "1, 2..."
    All: "Cherry Bomb~"
    Tori: "We actually like many groups as well, for example Star Beam, Star Wish, Moonland, A.C.E, ONF, GOT7 and many many more"
    Tay: "Wonder Girls, Girls Generation, TWICE, BTS, KnT, Heart2Heart, Fika, FXN"
    Alicia: "I would say Cherry Bomb is a very big Kpop lover. We have so many groups and solos we like that's hard to name them all in only one phrase"
    Hana: "We were all Kpop fans before becoming idols so it's only natural that we like so many groups"

    10. Who's your dream collab?
    Umi: "I'd like to collab with BTS and collab again with Star Beam but this time on a track"
    Tay: "It's always fun to collab with Star Beam, we feel like a big family at this point"
    Pandora: "Speaking of family, I would love to collab with KnT and Emilia Park since we're all under the same label"
    Tori: "That sounds so fun! I would love to become closer to all of them too. They're(KnT) our little sisters after all"

    11. What was your favorite music video to film?
    Hana: "We've had many fun music videos but inmy opinion the most fun was La Magie's Music Video"
    Umi: "They rented a castle in Scotland for that video and we got to travel there which was an amazing experience. The location was really pretty and I hope we can come back to Scotland since we didn't have much time for tourism"
    Alicia: "We were also all blonde which was really fun"
    Tori: "HaLicia looked like real twins when we were recording too because it was before Hana got taller"
    Pandora: "Ah~! I remember we even had to stay until late and told ghost stories to scare one another. It was really fun"

    12. What's your favorite Love Song?
    Tori: "Cherry Bomb's love songs! We have a lot"
    Tay: "I agree, I like love songs in general but our songs are usually very tender and nice which make me feel happy and feel butterflies in my stomach"
    Alicia: "I think a good example of that is our current title track Fallin' Love, it's fun, energetic and cute!"
    Pandora: "I also really like When We Were Us and Love in the Dark. They're both different from one another and have very interesting auras!"

    13. What's something you'll never regret?
    Hana: "Joining Solstice Media. I was in the debut lineup for my previous company but it kept getting delayed and while talking to my peers, many of us just decided to leave. I had a hard time at first adapting but I found a new home in Cherry Bomb"
    Umi: "It's the same for me, I was very close to debuting a couple of times but once Tori left our previous company, she asked if I wanted to try our luck in another company and thankfully we got in the lineup"
    Pandora: "Honestly, for me it's participating in 'Unique Idol Girls', I was ready to give up on my dream forever but my vocal trainer insisted I had to do it one more time and that I would gain more than I lost. In the end, she was right"
    Tori: "Thank you trainer~"

    14. If you could live anywhere, where would you live?
    Umi: "I would like to live by the beach. I really like the sound of the sea and I think having a house close would be a dream"
    Alicia: "For me, I want to live in a place I can see the mountains in"
    Tori: "I like Argentina a lot, I would love to live in Buenos Aires or Mendoza due to them having beautiful views, nice wine and lovely people too"

    15. What's one thing your fans would be surprised to learn about you?
    Tay: "I know how to play the accordion"
    Pandora: "Wow! Really? I think that's something not even us knew"
    Tay: "My uncle had a music store when I was growing up and he used to play the accordion a lot, I found it interesting and so I learnt my way through it"
    Alicia: "In my case is probably that I changed my birth name when I turned 15. Most think I was always Alicia Pensry Yao Yun but that's not the case~"
    Tori: "Then, will you tell us what your birth name was before?"
    Alicia: "Someday maybe~"

    16. How do you deal with heartbreak?
    Umi: "It might sound silly but I give myself the time to be sad and take it in as much as I can. I cry if I want to, I eat Ice Cream if I want to, I even watch sad films to cry more if I feel like it. The remedy is to let everything go and with time, you'll feel better"
    Pandora: "I think it's best to let go of everything and taking all those memories as things of the past instead of holding into something that can be bad for you. Even if you loved them dearly and had a good time before; it does no good to neither yourself nor your former lover to keep trying to maintain things as they were"

    17. What are some of your embarrassing habits?
    Tori: "I'm really forgetful so I end up putting things where they don't go or forgetting to do things I said I was going to do"
    Tay: "Honestly speaking, I snore at night when I'm really tired. I'm glad I don't bother anyone in the new dorm but I felt sorry for Pandora and Umi when we shared a room"
    Pandora: "It's okay, I probably snore too"
    Umi: "Oh, me too" (Cherry Bomb laughs)
    Tori: "I can see this in the news. 'Cherry Bomb Members Snore'"
