Facts:
♡ She was a popular and well stablished Ice Skater. Winning several medals world-wide. She was close to participating in the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics but couldn't as she got pneumonia two weeks before the classifications. In 2019, she announced that she would be retiring from skating and taking a year off to rest.
♡ Despite retiring from ice skating as a profession at age 22 (Korean Age), she still loves skating and practices whenever she has the chance.
♡ Had a YouTube channel dedicated to her professional ice-skating routines, she also posted Q&As as well as unboxing videos from the gifts her fans gave her. However, it's been inactive since her retirement from the sport asides from a last Q&A where she replied to her fans questions after the deed.
♡ The statement for her retirement goes as follows: "I've been skating for as long as I can remember. We even came from Jeju Island to Seoul in order for me to practice with the best trainers we could find. For that and for everyone's unconditional love, I am eternally grateful. I was able to fulfill one of my greatest dreams thanks to that decision and I don't regret anything from the past 12 years. However, as time went by, I wasn't getting the results that I expected which made me go to the extreme (with my body) and even develop several anxiety when I still couldn't do the things I wanted to. I got very very sick while preparing for the Olympics classifications and that made me realize that I simply didn't want to live that way anymore"
♡ She decided to audition for several companies and even passed the auditions for JYP Entertainment, Jellyfish Entertainment, and Solstice Media but went with the later as she's a big fan of Cherry Bomb since their pre-debut era.
♡ She has a very bright and outgoing personality which made her fan club call her "Sun Beam" Haerin loved the nickname and still uses it frequently to this day.
♡ Haerin has two older siblings and a younger sister. Her oldest sister is a Veterinarian, her older brother is a Radio DJ, and her younger sister is a High School student. She's close to all of them but specially to her older brother as they share music tastes and he ended up influencing her into taking an interesting in music.
♡ She has a very dedicated fan base who still support her even after she changed her field. They call themselves "YooRin-Luvers"
