So I will try to summarize it for easier understanding!

CONTEXT

"Mi Sol Amor" ("My Sun Love" in Spanish) is a Latin pop style song that sings about a significant other being the center of one's life even if there is a possibility that this love might cost your life.

The concept of the era is derived from the famed Trojan War focusing on the perspective of the goddesses (Korean Version) & Helen of Troy (English Version). The styling team decided not to do the "Greek Mythology high school rolepay starter pack" (white cloth and gold foil) as the main color scheme especially during music shows but instead, they curated specific looks for the members' representative goddesses

Each member represented a goddess in the MV:

Ryuna - Hera
Chaehee - Artemis
Chloe - Aphrodite
Hyoshin - Amphitrite
Jeonah - Athena
Saeyoon - Iris
Yujia - Persephone

During the opening scene in the Korean version, the girls was seen partying until the golden apple of discord was thrown at them. Only Ryuna, Chloe & Jeonah fought to be the fairest while the rest tried to stop them.

While the English version begins with the girls in a ballroom with a chessboard like floor with large life-sized chess pieces with blue and red splatters and old carousel horses.

For the sake of MV, the Trojan war is used as a metaphor for "dangerous yet exciting love" and the plot was tamer than the original mythology since the girls will never tolerate nor romanticize cheating or any relationship red flags in real life. Basically, it's just their commentary on how the public and the media sees their personal life by labelling them "femme fatales" who is about ruin NCT's career (SeuBim will never do that since they admire NCT as artists first)

THE "FLAMING HEART" CONNECTION

At first glance, we already saw "Flaming Heart" references in some portions of the MV (the forbidden love trope, the chess imagery & the blue vs. red color schemes) but there is more than that...

The reason why SeuBim did chess inspired outfits for the English version:

“Helen and Hero were sluts and harlots.” (Romeo & Juliet, Act 2, Scene 4, line 107)

"The reference to Helen of Troy has often been used to compare a beautiful woman to Helen of Troy to say that they are beautiful. The allusion to Helen of Troy is foreshadowing because Romeo and Paris both fight over Juliet just like Menelaus fought Paris over Helen."

Another "Flaming Heart" reference is when Johnny was being trapped in a box with police tape with word "Danger" which is the opening line of the song. Also a scene where JohnJia was supposed to be separated with a police tape on the floor but it did not stop them to be closer together.

Both "Flaming Heart" & "Mi Sol Amor" talks about the excitement of dangerous love which is the opposite of Star Beam's love life with certain NCT members (secure and happily committed relationship). Of course, not all of people like SeuBim & NCT's relationship but some of them do below the belt remarks on both groups. ByulBis know that SeuBim's anger towards those comments were being channelled through their music (JohnJia went through hell just for their co-members will have peaceful love life)
