๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐: By now, Linaโs heard every version on the backhanded comments people use to describe her. Endless variations of โoh, sheโs got a big personalityโ or that sheโs โhard to keep up withโ. Thankfully, Linaโs got a thick skin, so it never really gets to her. Her ability to shrug off rejection and other negative opinions of her has been a huge boon in her line of work. Linaโs a born entertainer. Nine times out of ten, her goal is to make people laugh. Sheโs always ready with a witty remark and is the first to crack the tension with a joke when conversation takes a dark turn. This has made a lot of people think sheโs incapable of taking things seriously, which isnโt exactly true. She absolutely can, she just doesnโt like to.
ย ย ย Linaโs very outgoing, engaging, and talkative - the latter perhaps to a fault. If sheโs on a particularly good streak with making people laugh, Lina will accidentally overwhelm a conversation. The fact that sheโs โalways onโ can be another turn-off, but sheโs not faking it; sheโs really just like that. And, again, she doesnโt exactly care. Lina has strong opinions and sheโs not afraid to voice them. Most of the time, theyโre just about trivial things (โWaffles are better than pancakes, and if you disagree, youโre wrongโ) and she likes arguing them for fun. However, she also isnโt afraid to stand up for what she believes in, or set people straight when they get out of line.
ย ย ย One thing thatโs always guaranteed to hit a nerve is going after her family. Linaโs very close to all of them, her younger sister in particular. Woe betide anyone who makes the mistake of speaking down to Mila, because Lina will not hold back. Being a Cool Big Sis is the other half of Linaโs personality. If she meets someone younger, or less experienced in the biz than her? Immediately adopted into her found family. It might come off as patronizing, but she really means well and wants to help. In the end, Linaโs just here to entertain people and make friends.๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ โต Lina was born in Debrecen, Hungary to an auction manager and an art history professor. They met because her father was an actor in a local theatre production that her mother worked as a set designer for. Is it any wonder Lina found her way to the stage after that?
โต The oldest of the three Lendvai siblings. Kamila and Teodor, the twins, were born four years after her. Theyโre Geminis, go figure. The twins were kinda shy growing up, and Lina saw herself as their protector.
โต As a young girl, Lina was put into ballet. Her motherโs family had a long dance tradition and her sister was expected to join as well. While Mila dropped out early on, Lina found she excelled. She didnโt care so much for endlessly practicing the same material, but she loved performing.
โต The Lendvais started looking to leave Hungary in the early 2000s due to rising far-right and fascist sentiment. Their father transferred to his companyโs London location and the rest of the family followed him a couple months later. Lina was fourteen at the time.
โต For the first time in her life, Lina had a hard time fitting in and making friends. Even the ballet studio no longer felt like her home away from home. All the new studios she tried to join were cold and hyper-competitive. Lina found herself feeling more isolated than everโฆuntil she discovered acting.
โต It wasnโt like Lina was unfamiliar with theatre. Both of her parents continued to be involved with their local theatre throughout her childhood, even after the move. The twins eventually joined as well - Mila acting alongside their father while Teo played cello for the pit. When Lina was debating on whether or not to give up ballet, Mila was the one who convinced her to take on a small role (one of the nuns in ๐๐บ๐ณ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฐ ๐ฅ๐ฆ ๐๐ฆ๐ณ๐จ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ข๐ค) in an upcoming production.
โต From the moment Lina first made an audience laugh, she was hooked. In ballet, the audience was quiet, only giving a restrained applause once the piece was finished. Theatre was all about the give-and-take. Ballet was a constant search for perfection, while theatre could be performed a hundred different ways by a hundred different people. It was everything Lina had been searching for.
โต It wasnโt long before Lina got into musicals as well. Sheโd always been a part of her school chorus - this was just another way to combine the things she already loved. Lina also loved the theatre crowd. A bunch of dramatic, funny, bombastic people? She fit right in.
โต When it came to apply for uni, Lina decided to pursue acting professionally. This wasnโt a surprise to her parents, but they still fought her on it. There was a reason neither of them decided to make their own art the focus of their careers. Not to mention she was supposed to be setting a good example for the twins!
โต Against her parentsโ wishes, Lina sent an audition tape to Tisch in NYC and was accepted into their theatre program. Four years later, she returned to London with her B.A. and immediately set about auditioning for West End productions.
โต Unfortunately, Linaโs naturally deep voice made it hard for her to secure parts in musicals. Contralto roles typically go to older women and Lina was only in her early twenties. Several years in, Lina found herself as the second understudy for Elphaba. The role she thought would open doors for her only led to more of the same. Lina was on the verge of giving up entirely and being forced to move back in with her parents when fate intervened. The producers of an upcoming Isadora Duncan biopic happened to catch Linaโs only performance of the week as Elphaba and, upon reading in her playbill bio that she used to be a dancer, asked her to audition as their lead. That indie film would go on to be Linaโs first screen role.
โต After ๐๐ด๐ข๐ฅ๐ฐ๐ณ๐ข, Lina found herself a steady flow of screen jobs. Though they were mostly secondary roles, acting had finally become a full-time career. She was even set to appear on ๐๐ข๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐ฐ๐ง ๐๐ฉ๐ณ๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ฆ๐ด, but when a stunt went wrong and Lina found herself with a busted knee, her part had to be written out of the show.
โต As with many instances in her life, this turned out to be a happy coincidence. Getting cut from GoT allowed Lina to audition for the popular fantasy anthology series, ๐๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ช๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ฏ ๐๐ฐ๐ญ๐ฌ. (Think ๐๐ฐ๐ค๐ต๐ฐ๐ณ ๐๐ฉ๐ฐ or ๐๐ต๐ณ๐ข๐ฏ๐จ๐ฆ๐ณ ๐๐ฉ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ๐ด in terms of crossover appeal and fanbase.) This would arguably become her breakout role.
โต Over the course of her three-year tenure on the show, Lina not only gained something of a cult following, but fell in love. She and her co-star, Gabriel Sambrano, started a relationship towards the end of their final season and theyโve been together ever since.
โต Meanwhile, Linaโs little sister has been trying to get into the acting world as well. Milaโs getting a bit of a late start due to her college side-hustle (modeling) taking off, but now sheโs ready to take on Los Angeles. In classic Big Sis
fashion, Linaโs decided to go with her. She got an offer recently for a show thatโs filming in LA and it seems like too much of a coincidence to ignore.
โต Of course, this also means that she and Gabe will be long distance while he continues to work in London. Linaโs never done a long distance relationship before, but she has no doubts that the two of them will be fine. โต The Szabรณ family has a long history in the performing arts. Her mother was a ballet dancer and her father did opera. While Jozefa was terribly uncoordinated and couldnโt carry a tune, she discovered that she had a talent for painting. She went on to become an art history professor, painting and building sets for local theatre productions in her spare time. Jozefa is one of the strongest people Lina knows. Her strength of will has both inspired Lina as well as led to them clashing. Part of Lina will always wonder if her mother resents not making her art the focus of her work and if sheโs jealous of Lina for building a successful career out of it. As much as he loved performing, Mรกrk followed his parentsโ wishes and studied businessโฆonly to swerve into art management in grad school and get a job at an auction house. โต Born in Plymouth to Chilean parents, Gabe originally had his sights set on becoming an actor. However, from a young age, he showed a talent in football. He earned his theatre degree with the help of a sports scholarship, through which he was scouted for the EFL. Gabe decided to take a chance and was surprised to make the cut. Unfortunately, just before his first starting game, he tore his left ACL. Almost immediately after that healed, he injured his right as well. Gabe took it as a sign he was meant for something else. He worked his way up from bit parts to the starring role in ๐๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ช๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ฏ ๐๐ฐ๐ญ๐ฌ, where he met Lina. He was goofy, and eccentric, and the first guy who could actually โkeep up with herโ. They recognized a similar struggle in Lina when she moved, so Gemma decided to help her out. The two became fast friends, though they havenโt seen each other much since university. Gemma moved in the opposite direction, getting their journalism degree in Bristol before heading to the US for work. They eventually settled in L.A., where they work for ๐๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ต๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ค, a magazine that celebrates queer fashion and art. In what seems like history repeating itself, Gemma was the first person Lina sought out after finding herself on the West Coast. She understands where people are coming from most of the time because the soft โiโ pronunciation isnโt very common. The ones that get to her are the complete misses. She gets a lot of โLindaโ and โLynnโ - and one set dresser who insisted on calling her โAngelinaโ.
โต Lina doesnโt really do nicknames. Some of her college friends called her โLima Beanโ, but thatโs about it. She figures her nameโs easy enough already.
โต Lina has a pretty speaking voice. Sheโs a contralto and her accent carries traces of both her hometowns. When she wants to do a standard London accent for her roles, Linaโs actually doing an impression of her sisterโs voice (Mila was only ten when she moved and shed her Hungarian accent entirely). This winds up putting her voice in a higher register. This was the accent she used for her most famous role on ๐๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ช๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ฏ ๐๐ฐ๐ญ๐ฌ and fans were quite surprised the first time they heard her speak out of character.
โต Lina is fully trilingual. Her first language is Hungarian, of course, but her family also has a strong Yiddish tradition, which she is proud to carry on. Lina was learning English at school and had a good grasp on the language even before her move.
โต If sheโs not watching herself, Lina will swear like a sailor. Swearing is fun! She doesnโt really get why Americans are so weird about it. Though she can censor herself, more often than not, her solution is to just keep her swearing to Hungarian and Yiddish. (She also loves teaching people swears in other languages and will gladly do so if asked.)
โต Lina once described her style as โcasual badassโ. Dark colors and clothes that are easy to move around it, but with athletic wear and moto-inspired touches.
โต After hurting her knee while filming that stunt for ๐๐ข๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐ฐ๐ง ๐๐ฉ๐ณ๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ฆ๐ด, Linaโs developed a fear of taking on stunts or fight scenes. Good thing her latest role just involves her sitting behind a computer screen.
โต While Lina hated most of physical therapy, it wound up inspiring her to get into kickboxing. Well, and working out in general. Gabeโs also a fan and the two are absolutely one of those annoying gym couples. (Theyโre also pretty disgustingly cute on social media.)
โต Lina is almost always the #1 cast prankster. Oh, someone fell asleep in their chair? Linaโs taking it upon herself to drag them to a different part of the set. Similarly, she will take any excuse to make something into a musical number and is constantly singing between takes. Once a theatre kid, you know?
โต During her time at Tisch, Lina and some of her friends created an improv comedy group. Many of the members, including Lina, have gone on to acquire a certain level of fame. There are constantly talks of reuniting for fundraiser performances.๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐น๐ท๐๐ถ๐๐น

๐๐๐๐๐: A biopic, detailing the life of Isadora Duncan, the famous and groundbreaking ballet dancer. It was shown at the BFI London Film Festival in 2016 to overwhelmingly positive reviews. Lina took home one of the New Talent awards and the directors took home the award for Best British Newcomer.

โณ Oddly enough, her first film role was one Lina didnโt have to audition for. The creators were a pair of just-graduated film students who wrote, directed, and produced the whole thing themselves. Because it was their first project, they didnโt even have the funding to hold auditions. By chance, they happened to catch Linaโs once-a-week performance as Elphaba. They noticed that her playbill bio mentioned ballet training and approached her at the stage doors after the performance, offer in hand. What they didnโt know was that Lina had just lost out on yet another audition earlier that day. She was honestly contemplating giving in, so this role seemed like a sign from the universe. The film generated a surprising amount of buzz and helped propel Linaโs career.แดแดษดษดส แด สแดแดแด ๊ฐแดส

๐๐๐๐๐: In turn-of-the-century London, the stories of well-loved Victorian literary characters intertwine. The British-American horror/drama series ran for three seasons on Showtime and Sky UK Limited. The overarching plot of the final season focused heavily on the characters from ๐๐ณ๐ข๐ค๐ถ๐ญ๐ข and vampire lore in general. Lina joined the cast as the titular character of ๐๐ข๐ณ๐ฎ๐ช๐ญ๐ญ๐ข by Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu. This was another role for which Lina was sought out, as the character is Hungarian and Lina was excited for the chance to perform lines in her mother tongue.

The series simultaneously takes place in modern-day London and the fantastical realm of the fae. Some fae just want to live a normal life and blend in with humans while others are mischievous, looking to prey on humans. Meanwhile, some humans hunt the fae for power or out of vengeance. Witches, the bridge between humans and the fae, work to keep peace between the two sides. Every couple seasons shifts focus to another witch, though all stories take place in the same universe.

The seventh season debuted at the end of last year and the next season has already begun filming. Lina originally wasnโt planning to wind up on this show. Sheโd just booked ๐๐ข๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐ฐ๐ง ๐๐ฉ๐ณ๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ฆ๐ด, after all. However, after injuring herself during a stunt sequence early on led to her character being written out entirely. The first thing Lina did once she was able to was audition for the role that would go on to make her a household name. Well, sort of. The popularity of the series turns all its actors into nerd royalty. Linaโs not quite on the level of Chris Evans - she can still walk down the street in regular clothes without getting swarmed - but sheโs basically guaranteed offers to do appearances at big conventions for the rest of her life.
ย ย ย This was also the show that introduced Lina to her current boyfriend, Gabriel Sambrano. She joined during his second season as the showโs lead, Baltasar, so he was already well-established with the other cast and crew. He helped ease Lina into things as well as giving her help with her recently-injured knee (a subject he knew all about). The pair had incredible on-screen chemistry, but that didnโt even hold a candle to how they got on away from the cameras. Gabe was worried about jeopardizing their working relationship, so Lina had to make the first move. It happened during the mid-season break in their final months of working together. Their producer was a little frustrated at them for not waiting until Lina was done filming, but everyone could see it coming at that point.

โณ Aside from being an orphaned former child prodigy, Skye was a very normal person. Well, that and the fact that she was a human who could somehow see the fair folk without the aid of a magical device. These facts made shy, bookish Skye something of an outsider. She always made a conscious effort to ignore the potentially paranormal, but when a strangely-dressed man only she can see bursts into her quantum physics lab, avoiding the fair folk is no longer an option. Baltasar quickly becomes fascinated with her and the pair team up to unravel the dark secrets buried in Skyeโs past. Over the course of their two seasons together, Skye learns how to stick up for herself and others, as well as do magic of her own. Itโs eventually revealed that Skye was a Void or the mortal child of faerie parents. While she had no magic of her own, she was constantly draining it from every fae she came across - including Baltasar. Realizing the danger her presence put him in, Skye sacrificed all the magic she had drained to defeat the seasonโs Big Bads. This left Skye with no memory of Baltasar or the fae and meant he could no longer see her, lest she steal his magic once more.
ย ย ย Skye and Baltasarโs bittersweet ending is one of the most-discussed elements of the show. Like Lina and Gabe, the pair grew close over their time working together. However, their feelings towards one another were left ambiguous. Officially, they were meant to be close friends, but Lina and Gabeโs chemistry had plenty of viewers seeing their relationship in a romantic light. There are still massive legions of โBaltaskyeโ shippers to this day. Gabe went on to star in one more season after Lina left, but only as a recurring character. The phenomenon is simply called โSingingโ and spontaneously appeared worldwide two decades ago. As a result, staged musicals have been on the decline. The story follows the intersecting lives of Annie Gerhardt and Detective Amadi Roberts. The film was shown at the 2020 British Independent Film Festival with mixed to positive reviews. Despite the film underperforming, Lina enjoyed having the chance to get back into musicals. A lot of fans didnโt know about her musical background and were impressed by her vocal abilities.

Each week, they work private cases that put their spy skills to use for the greater good, while the overarching plot involves figuring out the reason they were abandoned by their agencies.

Harper serves as the teamโs mission control, giving them help through their earpieces while she hangs back at headquarters. Very much the โguy in the chairโ of the Insiders.
ย ย ย If youโre thinking, โHey, that just sounds like her character in ๐๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐๐ช๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ฏ ๐๐ฐ๐ญ๐ฌ, except a spy!โ then youโre not alone. Fans were quick to point out the similarities between the two characters, along with 90% of Linaโs other roles, the moment the first promo material dropped. While she doesnโt think of herself as being typecast, she canโt deny that her characters do seem to have a type. She was offered a part on this show after working with the executive producer on [B99-inspired show]. After learning that the show would be heavy on the stunts, Lina asked to audition for whoever would be involved in the fewest fight scenes. Harper deliberately stays out of field work, so Lina was sold. -
