Frolicking in the grasses of Vadalon is Bonnyโ€™s favorite pastime. Sheโ€™s always returning to the town square and entering Crystal Waters Perfumier with a bundle of herbs, flowers, and other greenery. With her long dresses, equally long red hair, and stylish heels that cover the grass stains on the bottom of her feet, Bonny is a whimsical figure. Well-known and sociable, sheโ€™s a staple part of the downtown experience, making everyone smile, especially children who see her as a fairy. She is practically folkloric, dancing to the tune of her own drum no matter where she is.

However, this doesnโ€™t make Bonny immune to flaws. She isnโ€™t a mythical creature. Sheโ€™s a human, fallible. She can be headstrong, rushing into things without being aware of the true nature of what sheโ€™s doing. Her attitude also tends to get her in trouble, as Bonny tends to lightheartedly sass whoever sheโ€™s talking to. To some, it rubs them the wrong, even if she isnโ€™t intentionally being rude. When she is, however, everyone will know because she wears her heart on her sleeve (or perhaps on her cheek, if weโ€™re following Marinaโ€™s logic). While not quick to anger, Bonny is easily readable on all emotions except love and lust. Naturally, this makes her a heartbreaker, even if in all other areas sheโ€™s a kind girl.

Her tendencies towards romance donโ€™t necessarily come from an evil, malicious place. For all intents and purposes, Bonny is simply naive to the world and too impatient to let real love grow. Or perhaps she just has deep seeded commitment issues because of her parents. Not to mention, this is the only way she can truly rebel. Her grandmother has grandiose plans for her and how she will uphold the Amyrgorne-Turtlestone name, as though her mother soured it by simply existing. Bonny isnโ€™t afraid of her grandma, but she also doesnโ€™t know how to directly resist the expectations set before her except by hurting one person after the next.

Bonny has been proposed to a number of times by different people, but despite her grandmother's constant pressure to settle down, she has refused each and every one of them. No, it's much more fun being unmarried and unfettered by babies, Bonny's certain of it. She's far, far more interested in singing and doing little twirly dances in the market for a bit of coin to be used on a pretty shawl or a fine sliver of crystalberry cake. Or else taking off to the thermal pools with friends on a moment's notice. There is no inclination, no hint of wanting to "settle down". But with the establishment of The Lillium Academy, Bonny's grandmother got a bee in her bonnet over sending her only grandchild to recieve higher education- one that "will do this world some good". When Bonny- very unwilling to leave her social life (and scores of admirers) behind for some stodgy school in Rhosymora- refused, her grandmother then threatened her with betrothal to a local boy (not even one of her lovely suitors!) with more teeth than brains in his head if she did not comply. Well, that was all the motivation Bonny needed. At least it's just a few months- by then Bonny will be certain to have a plan of attack.

Less than a few (TKdate) after Bonny was born, her mother was selected for the Maiden Head Games. Bonny doesnโ€™t know this, though she will soon find out. To Bon-Bonโ€™s knowledge, her mother has her young, too young. Her father and she got married after conceiving Bonny out of wedlock. Her mom was supposed to work at a local apothecary, training to become a healer. Instead, she was stuck with Bonny and thatโ€™s why she left. Sheโ€™s no longer around. Because of that, Bonny has a weird sense of loyalty to her mother even if she spent the better part of her tween years angry at her mom.

When Bonny was five years old, Irwin disappeared. Even his mother, Bonnyโ€™s grandma, doesnโ€™t know where he went. One day, he just left. There are theories, of course, as everyone local kept track of Irwin. He was a prolific member of the Amyrgorne house, the patriarch of the estate that lay just up the hill from the Square. For someone of his kind to leave, perhaps be kidnapped, was a cause for chaos. People thought Bluebell had something to do with it, at first, but a note was quickly found in Bonnyโ€™s room. It read:

It certainly wasnโ€™t helped by the fact that two more people went missing at the same time- Mr. Inglewurm and Mrs. Poppyseed. They were all presumed to be in kahoots together, perhaps running off to start a new family. None of these made sense, but after a year of Irwinโ€™s disappearance, everyone realized that no answers were to be found. The only person still perplexed by what happened to him is Bonny, who would never admit that given her grandmotherโ€™s admonishment of him.

Granny Bluebell is a character, for sure. She used to be kind, especially to Bonny. Then, Irwin left. Things changed once Blue became Bonnyโ€™s sole caretaker. Sheโ€™s obsessed with protecting the family legacy, given how affluent the Amyrgornes have been for centuries. Her first mistake was marrying a Turtlestone, and her second was letting her son marry a โ€œtwo-bit whore.โ€ Sheโ€™ll be damned if her third mistake, her final strike, was to raise a daughter who amounts to nothing. Except, it doesnโ€™t appear her Bunny wants to become much more than a harlot like her mother. At least, she refuses to marry, pursue much of anything other than her position at the Perfumier, and sheโ€™s always with her friends or galavanting in the woods. Sheโ€™s too youthful, especially for someone whose parents arenโ€™t around anymore. Blue says her biggest mistake was sheltering Bonny from the world, which is why sheโ€™s shipping her granddaughter off to get an education. The Amyrgornes will be returned to their ever-rising status, even with a Turtlestone at the helm.
