FACTS

She was born in Saitama, Japan as the only daughter until she was 19 years old, her mother surprisingly got pregnant again.
Her Japanese Name, Shion (星媛) means by 'star' (星) and 'beautiful' (媛) which she explained that her father told her that she is the beautiful star who was both her parents was wishing upon while her mom was pregnant to her.
She has a younger brother who is 19 years old younger than her, Park Soohyun. She told that her brother Japanese name is Nakayama Haru (中山喜) which is Haru (喜) means Joy, the unexpected joy that came to Nakayama family.
She was in nursery together with Yein since she was 3 but they got separated due to Yein's moving to Switzerland but then meeting back at age 8 years old.
Education: Japanese Elementary and Middle School, Hanlim Multi Arts School (Graduated in 2016, under Practical Dance)
She can speak in Mandarin, Japanese and Korean. She is said to be translator in STARWISH during their concert in China and Japan.
Her mother is Korean (was moved and raised in Saitama Prefectural) and her father is Japanese (Osaka Prefectural). She said that her mom met Yein's mom after moving and both Yein's father and hers are best friend from the start. Then, they met (don't know where) and married.
Soyeon and Yein is in top 2 in visual whereas top 1 will be Yoomi of course.
Aside from Yein, she created most of STARWISH's choreography, she is also known as I*ZONE dance teacher. She is also a choreographer and trainer in 1MILLION Studio where she sometimes posted a dance video in their channel.
Being opposite to Yein, she is more to introvert and prefer not to talk first, so growing up together with Yein, Yein translates her body language. She only talk more with someone in her circle.
Soyeon and Yein are childhood best friends till now. They are called 'Forever Soulmate' as they are much like The Twin in 'Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children'.
Hyoyeon claimed that Soyeon's voice is unique because she has husky voice while rapping, deep high pitched voice while singing and soft whiny voice while talking to members.
