Great-granddaughter of Old Hollywood actress Ingrid Bergman, Dahlia is set to make her own mark on the film world. She has been on screen since she was four years old โ” though it would be a shame to mistake her as simply a child star. Her productions and emotionally-heavy roles have proven that she has outgrown such a title. Dahlia Bergman is here to stay. Her auspicious role in Little Woman even earned her a nod at the Oscars. ๐…๐š๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐‡๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ ยป The great Ingrid Bergman, Swedish-German superstar, was not entirely out of love with her first husband, but that did not stop the string of affairs that followed everywhere she went in Hollywood. She had one daughter with him, a Linnea Lindstrรถm, and her second child was born while they were still married. However, she did not deny that this son belonged to someone else โ” the director of one of her films, Luca Rossellini. This finally became grounds enough for her to get a divorce. Luca and Ingrid married, and it was not long until they had a set of twins. Vera and Stefano Rossellini could not have been more different from one another. Vera despised the fame her parents relished in. She saw scandal after scandal that each partook in. Divorce didn't quell their drama either. Having her childhood and life constantly upended, and in the press no less, she despised the lot of them. She tried to withdraw from public space, but her name was too renowned. So as she got older, she leaned into it. A pretty face and money can get you plenty of places otherwise inaccessible. She vowed her first husband would also be her last; she would marry only for true love. And she did. Sort of. Vera juggled a successful career in marketing while having five children. Her husband, quite revolutionarily, stayed home to take care of them while his wife worked. This made Peter and Vera even more hot gossip around the town. Their second to youngest, Marianna, fell hard and fast in love at only fifteen. They were married at eighteen, both trust fund kids who didn't believe in a world where anything went wrong. Though they had the family fortunes to prove it, none of Ingrid's grandchildren seemed to have the same drive or talent. Marianna's brother Holt did try, but the camera never did him any favors. It wasn't until three years after Nicholas and Marianna's wedding, when little Winter was kicking and screaming her way into this world, that the tides turned. People still knew of the Bergmans. Marianna and Nicholas were certainly interesting and reckless enough to get an occasional headline. But it was little more than that. It had been two generations since a Bergman held the world at her feet. Winter wanted to change that. She wanted to change everything. So she paid homage to her grandmother with her new name, as well as another figure she wishes had a better life: The Black Dahlia. And she swore she would do them proud.

Fans had long been looking to reclaim their beloved childhood series. However, that was only part of why the unique series Wolves Without Teeth took off. With four storylines in eight books { and a rumored fifth to be coming soon! }, its dual authors have astounded the world with their unique take: writing separate novels from the perspective of each of the main characters. Victoire Weasley and Edward Lupin are both intimately glimpsed in this terrible and wonderful romance.

โ €โ €โ € โ €Dahlia could hardly believe she was being asked to play the lead role. Not because of her own acting. She was confident of that by now. But because of everything else stacked against her. Not being British, a history with Twilight, often pigeon-holed into historical pieces . . . Yet how could she say no? It was a dream role. At least, it was, until she walked into a chemistry test and was confronted with her favorite person to hate: Jack Lovitt.

Sure, it may have added more complicated layers into the relationships with her fellow castmates that were supposedly her friends, but Dahlia was not about to let anything get in the way of her career. It was a huge risk. Dahlia basically staked most of her personal finances and her reputation as an actress on this last film. But it more than paid off. โ €โ €โ € โ €Although problematic in her own ways, Felicity is a far cry from the wicked roles Dahlia has had in the past. This is also the part that starts Dahlia down her love affair with period pieces. It is the most fun she has ever had playing a character. She poured over the source books countless times and dove deep into the psyche of Felicity. And it showed in the final project. Her performance was unbelievable, sadly outshining the main lead in a way that proved a bit problematic for their own relationship. Unfortunately, the movie didn't exactly pick up the accolades that Dahlia would've liked to be rewarded with. The franchise was quite small to begin with, and even with the well-done film, it did not do much to break out of its niche market.

She has not watched it again, even now. While most people praised Dahlia's acting in it, there was a lot of criticism for the overall changes and directing decisions. Things that, yes, were entirely out of her hands, but still . . . There was also a strange back-handed compliment that came with being "too pretty" for the role. She even advocates a bit about how frustrated she has been with both Jane from Twilight and now this role not changing simple things such as her hair colors to be truer to the original source materials. Although this does nothing for her in the way of swaying the important people who make these decisions, it does give her a good reputation with fans. โ €โ €โ € โ €Ah, Breaking Dawn. The conclusion of the Twilight saga . . . and a huge turning point in Dahlia's relationship with the media. As a member of a great Hollywood dynasty, Dahlia was used to her entire life being broadcast to the world. She didn't know to question it; this was her definition of normal. She didn't mind interviews. She happily smiled and waved at paparazzi. She was open, prone to making little mistakes, and transparent. It didn't seem dangerous, but the world was quick to turn on her. Dahlia made a rather prolific confession of love for RPattz in a way that not only embarrassed her . . . it practically turned her into a meme. Some people mocked her for being so childish. Others berated her parents, her agent, and even Rob for allowing "such vile feelings" take root in someone so young. Sure, it was only an innocent crush that any little girl could easily have, but it didn't remain that way in the arms of the media. NAME/55/135330

    OVER

โ €โ €โ € โ €Winter was born when both of her loving but irresponsible parents were each twenty-one years old. Perhaps that accounts for some of her . . . unusual name.

    • Basically started getting acting jobs as a favor to her parents (the random appearances)
    • Still under the illusion she earned her spot in Mad Men........that will be a shitty reality check someday
    • Whilst doing that show, she was supposed to only filmed smaller projects. They were her family! Her life! (Also lol school)
    • Her parents let her star in Nimโ€™s Island in 2008, and basically her grades and mental health tanked from being so busy. Frankly, she had never really cared about school. Sheโ€™s intelligent and naturally gifted in it, but she had missing assignments constantly. Even when she wasnโ€™t working. So it was always an uphill battle for her parents to get her to focus
    • So between 2008-2013, she only played smaller side characters. She wasnโ€™t even allowed to audition for bigger roles!
    • However, FINALLY, she convinced her parents that she was responsible enough to handle it again, which is how she got the green light for Carrie
    • Once Mad Men ended in 2015, she was excited for the prospect of entirely new work but also lost, a bit unsure
    • Felt stuck in her kid image for a long time
    • And now feels sheโ€™s often typecast as (blank) and stuck in (blank) { redo her IMDb to figure this out }
    • Wants to break her own mold
    • Is this the time she loses her mother?
    • She thought Delirium would be that chance. Plus it was the last role her mother helped her run lines for. So it hurt watching it crumble before her eyes. Has blamed a lot of that showโ€™s failure on Jack and that kind of mixed with her grief to make it a very permanent hatred
    • Is lowkey viewed as a bitch within the industry due to how seriously she takes her job but sheโ€™s not really one. Definitely intense though
    • Well that depends on who you ask (Jack) but MOSTLY sheโ€™s not
    • Often praised when she adapts a book for how well she studies and stays true to her original character, especially if that means dyeing her hair, wearing contacts, etc
    • Yes, the rumors are true . . . When she heard Jack Lovitt might be cast as a major role in her biggest breakout opportunity yet, she sabotaged him getting the part by playing all her โ€œold Hollywood familyโ€ cards. Daddyโ€™s mommy talks where she canโ€™t
    • Went full method for The Queenโ€™s Gambit though lbr it was intense and well done. Still kinda messing with her head. Maybe if she gets some kind of win, itโ€™ll be worth it? Who knows
    • A Great and Terrible Beauty???
    • Says sheโ€™s bisexual, plays a few gay characters, but often faces backlash for โ€œnot being gay enoughโ€ since sheโ€™s never been in an official relationship with a woman
    • So yeah need to update her IMDb with some gays
    • Perfectionist but . . . lazy lol oops. Sheโ€™s definitely spoiled to high heavens and has had most things handed to her. She tends to expect that
    • Doesnโ€™t really like having assistants or managers. Would rather do everything herself. So while she sometimes seems like a brat for being so flippant towards them, itโ€™s because she wants independence and frankly wouldnโ€™t have them at all if she had any say in the matter. She still gives good Christmas bonuses; itโ€™s not like working for her is complete misery. But it can definitely be a bit of a rollercoaster
    • Values her privacy more than anything in the world. Is a completely different person that the one the media knows. Doesnโ€™t tolerate anyone photographing or posting about her without her complete consent AHEAD OF TIME
    • Itโ€™s also stupidly easy to tell when she posts on her accounts versus an assistant or manager
    • Has a really good voice and has been coerced into singing for some of her projects but has no confidence in it at all so doesnโ€™t pursue it
    • A remake of the long island Lolita story??
    • A cousin whoโ€™s like a sibling

    IGNORE
So I think, in general, that Dahlia takes her work so seriously that she doesnโ€™t make a ton of friends on set. It tends to be in other ways / from other places since working with her can be quite intense. This is a running list of a few faceclaims, though, since in a lot of moments I was too lazy to change them. Like they might get new names but not new models lol.

    THE QUEENโ€™S GAMBIT
โ€ขโ€ข went super method and thus didnโ€™t make a lot of friends on set
-Thomas Brodie-Sangster (a little brother type)
-Harry Melling (good friends on set but not much to go on after...until recently when she cozied up to him due to his HP past)
-Jacob Fortune-Lloyd (anyone is better than Jack so she acts v fake nice to him to make sure he stayed on the project)

    LITTLE WOMEN
โ€ขโ€ข spent basically the entire time absolutely awestruck about the stars she was able to work with
-Saoirse Ronan (very similar people so got along professionally super well)
-Emma Watson (lost her gd mind when meeting her; however, Emma really liked her and definitely tweeted about it in a way that helped her WWT chances which was amazing)
-Timothรฉe Chalamet (hasnโ€™t told the media heโ€™s a terrible kisser but itโ€™s getting harder to not mention it)
-Eliza Scanlen (she clearly didnโ€™t like Dahlia but they could act civil)

    TINY PRETTY THINGS
โ€ขโ€ข the cast where sheโ€™s been closest to the most people, in part because of how little the project means to Dahlia. She got a pretty large paycheck offer for not a ton of work, so...whatever. She can play along and dance around for that. Netflix clearly enjoys bringing her back, so she canโ€™t complain about the offer
    -Brennan Clost
-Barton Cowperthwaite (lol you might have mentioned this but I forgot)
    -Damon J Gillepsie
    -Kylie Jefferson
    -Anna Miche
    -Daniela Norman
    -Michael Hsu Rosen
    -Clare Butler
    -Ashley Coulson

    GEMMA DOYLE TRILOGY
โ€ขโ€ข met her best friend and sometimes rumored hook-up, often parties with the other main girls as well
-Ella Balinska (aforementioned bff/theyโ€™ve literally never hooked up but the media refuses to believe it)
    -Jeni Ross (paaaarrrttttyyyyy girl)
-Jess Gabor (struggling to gain fame outside of these movies and def willing to use Dahlia to get it)

    HARLOTS
โ€ขโ€ข A lot younger than the rest of the cast and didnโ€™t connect with a lot of them. They got along professionally but not really beyond that

    TWILIGHT
โ€ขโ€ข Again, a lot younger...but there were a few other young members on the cast
Rob and Kristen (who mostly regard her with pity for that time she really embarrassed herself in confessing her love for Rob)
Booboo (the only person she got close to on set and sheโ€™s so excited to work with him again)

    OTHER
Isabela Moner (Her cousin โ€” yeah i know sheโ€™s half Latina but obvi that can be from the side of the family that theyโ€™re not related on lmao bc those big eyes and face shapes are the same)
Still picking this but I think Andrew Matarazzo so it looks like she really has a type lmao โ€” but this is a bit too rl Dove maybe so I am also thinking of going in an entirely different direction (Prolific Ex)
Sofia Carson (one night stand turned really close friend)
Jon Hamm (major role model ofc)
Hayley Kiyoko (great friends since the music video and I, oop โ€” that chemistry)

So the most important ones are:
Ella Balinska, Sofia Carson, Isabela Moner, Andrew Matarazzo, Jeni Ross, Jess Gaborx Hayley Kiyoko, then me looking at the TPT cast again, maybe changing them, but then also deciding if I can make some more interesting plots there lol
