He’s something of a bohemian. It was a normal thing to see her father walking around the house naked with a glass of wine, listening to chanson vinyls.
Yuliya’s mother, 𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐌𝐢𝐡𝐚𝐲𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐚 𝐘𝐚𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐯𝐚, is an actress, most recognized for her role in A Cruel Summer during the 80s. Her son, 𝐈𝐥𝐲𝐚, was born in ‘90. As a mother, Kalina was affectionate but emotionally detached. She encouraged her kids to attend a great international school where they gained near fluency in English. Ilya was a troublemaker, perhaps even worse than Yuliya. When Ilya took her to parties, she was the one who got in trouble for it. He introduced her to the underground scene where she fell in love with making beats. It was a way for her to express her feelings without words. Her teen years were spent at raves, crashing on mattresses in the apartments of strangers, and amongst empty liquor bottles in abandoned orthodox churches incensed with stale marijuana smoke, electronic hymns blaring from a shitty speaker.

𝑭𝑨𝑴𝑰𝑳𝒀 𝐍𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐡 (𝐍𝐞𝐞𝐯𝐞) 𝐎'𝐑𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐧 and 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐲 originated in Ireland, Galway and Cork, respectively. Upon getting married, the couple decided to pack up their lives in a suitcase and move to the United States. Many years before, Donovan’s half-brother, Liam, firmly established himself in Hollywood, where he successfully performed as an actor, wrote and directed Western dramas. While travelling the West Coast, Niamh fell in love with the Pacific Northwest. They ended up settling in Seattle and Donovan immediately got to work- building an Auto Body business, which would later become one of the largest in the city. 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐮𝐧 𝐂𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐲 was born in ‘87. Amongst all the people in Rian’s life, he’s closest to Shaun.

During their teen years, the boys worked at Donovan’s body shop. Rian had someone to teach him a valuable skill, and at this point, he thought that he would be doing this for the rest of his life. In high school, one of his friends showed him how to make beats. The rhymes flowed effortlessly from pencil to paper, and soon, every night was spent in the garage freestyling with his pals or putting together music videos. Rian had a vision, but he had a lot of doubt. After college, Shaun moved to California. The loneliness began to settle in.

After finishing high school, Rian took up an opportunity to work in Alaska and for the next four years, he did different industry jobs- construction, fishing, tanning hides, farmwork. He met many people with their own unique stories from all walks of life- it touched him on a soul level. But, it was the solitariness of the bush and endless sky that opened his eyes to what he wanted.

𝑭𝒂𝒗𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝒃𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒔/𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒔/𝒕𝒚𝒑𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒎𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒄: Rian listens to music from just about every genre. He has a huge music library and knows of many obscure musicians. Something about black metal resonates with him heavily.
