STAR BEAM WILL SING FOR TRUE BEAUTY
Star Beam will release their OST for the drama adaptation of the popular webtoon of "True Beauty". The title "I'm Beautiful" is a easy-listening dance pop song that talks about accepting herself as beautiful as she is no matter how harsh others would say. The girls wants their female fans to accept that they are beautiful in their own way even they are not perfect. The story "True Beauty" is about a girl named Jugyeong who got a glow up as she became one of the most popular girls in school & was stuck into a love triangle.
CHLOE IS ALLURE KOREA'S LATEST COVER GIRL
August is indeed Chloe's month where she became the cover girl of Allure Korea. This cover shoot is so special because August is her birth month. The particular shoot was inspired by the 60s mod movement. The shoot is trending that some fans even compared her to Seventeen's The8's infamous neon outfit & the notorious NCT NeoBong. Ever a comedian, the visual take it as a joke and even gave a shout out to Mark (NCT 127), Xiaojun (WayV) & Jaemin (NCT Dream) because all of them were born in August which got both ByulBis & NCTzens wheezing.
CHLOE & HYOSHIN JOINED THE FIXED LINEUP OF IDOL RADIO
When Yujia & Jeonah dominated the music shows as MCs, Chloe & Hyoshin is the next pair to conquer the airwaves by joining YoungK of Day6 & Youngjae of Got7 as DJs of Idol Radio. The reason why Chloe & Hyoshin joined the DJ lineup is because they are witty and charming as hell. It's always Hyoshin's dream to be a radio DJ so she promised that she will work hard. As for Chloe, she likes to listen to the radio during breaks. The two were occassional DJs before they got their fixed job.
RYUNA IS POSITIVELY CONSIDERING THE FEMALE LEAD ROLE OPPOSITE JAEHYUN (NCT)
Being a former JYP actors trainee, it is no surprise to see Ryuna occasionally showing her actress side. Yesterday, it was announced that she is positively considering the female lead role in the fifth season of "Love Playlist" opposite NCT's Jeong Jaehyun. Her character, Narae, is Minho (Jaehyun)'s childhood best friend who recently got her glow up and became one of the most popular girls in the campus.
Also SeuBim was also considered to sing for the OST. "Love Playlist S5" is set to premiere in 2021 in KBS
STAR BEAM WON THE "INTERNATIONAL VIDEO OF THE YEAR" IN MYX AWARDS 2020
Star Beam bagged the "International Video of the Year" trophy for their 2019 hit song "I Am" which dominated the Myx charts besting other foreign acts. Myx Awards is a Filipino award show which recognizes OPM (which means "Original Philippine Music") and international music acts' impact to the music industry annually. In the virtual award show, the group filmed their live performance in the practice room with feathers as decoration that alluded to their Swan Lake concept of "I Am". The girls are very grateful to Myx and Filipino ByulBis for recognizing their efforts. They wished that talented Filipino artists will have the global recognition they deserved and for everyone working in the industry be safe and healthy during the pandemic. As a treat for Filipino ByulBis, the girls said, "Mahal na Mahal Namin Kayo, ByulBis" ('We love you so much, ByulBis' in Tagalog). They visited the Philippines thrice last year, one of them, notably their Manila stop of "Beaming Memories" tour.
