She was born in Yeosu but lived most of her childhood in Belgium with her parents and her older brother.

Then, they moved to Seoul when Sooeun was 14 years old.

She used to be a backup dancer under YG, then, she left the company because CUBE entertainment gave her a chance to audition to be a k-pop idol.

After a year under CUBE, she left and finally joined RS Entertainment.

She was the last reveal for the group. RS considered her their hidden weapon because of her charisma and skills while performing.

— When she was little, she did taekwondo and jazz dance.

— She is really close to (G)I-DLE's Soojin, they become close when she was in CUBE.
— Sooeun is the most extroverted in the group, the members say that she doesn’t get embarrassed easily.

— She still uses her YouTube channel, but she uploads vlogs and answers questions.

— According to the other members, Hyunjung and her usually are the mood makers of the group.
— Has an unconditional love for Bang Yongguk of BAP. In school years, BAP was the first k-pop group she listened to and also went to a lot of concerts of them.
— She is friends with Loona’s Yves.
— Several times she said her favorite number is 3, she has it everywhere.
— She is good at volleyball, she used to play competitive in school.
— Sooeun went to an all-women school when she was younger.
— In a radio interview, she revealed that in school, during valentine’s day she received a lot of gifts.
— She is a fan of videogames and pc games. She talked about she wanted to open a twitch channel or just upload videos of her playing.
— Sooeun appeared as a secondary character in the drama ‘The Beauty Inside’.
— She actually wanted to be an actress, and in the future, she wants to have a big role in a movie.
— In an interview, she revealed that Juni and she went to the same school but never talked there. They became best friends and inseparable during trainee years.

— Has a room in the dorm just for her gamer setup, and sometimes upload gameplays and reactions of herself on her channel. (she plays horror games with the members, overwatch, pubg, and league of legends, etc)
— Her favorite movies are Disney and Pixar movies, she went to Disneyland 3 times. She also likes to collect figures and has a space for them in her room.
