Nensala herself dropped out as soon as she was of the legal working age, and took on a job at the famous π‘†π‘Žπ‘™π‘‘π‘ π‘Žπ‘›π‘‘π‘  π‘…π‘’π‘ π‘œπ‘Ÿπ‘‘. First of all, she has reservations about the use of violence - she’s a bit of a pacifist at heart, and that’s not to mention what the mecha industry does to the planetary environments - and second, π‘ β„Žπ‘’ 𝑠𝑑𝑖𝑙𝑙 β„Žπ‘Žπ‘  π‘Ÿπ‘’π‘ π‘π‘œπ‘›π‘ π‘–π‘π‘–π‘™π‘–π‘‘π‘–π‘’π‘  π‘Žπ‘‘ β„Žπ‘œπ‘šπ‘’. Then there is the small fact that her father would absolutely forbid it…

    The first time Nensala notices Venemith, it’s when one of the other cadets points her out as β€œπΌπ‘₯’𝑠 𝑙𝑖𝑑𝑑𝑙𝑒 π‘ π‘–π‘ π‘‘π‘’π‘Ÿβ€, to which Nensala thought, π‘€β„Žπ‘œ π‘‘β„Žπ‘’ π‘“π‘’π‘π‘˜ 𝑖𝑠 𝐼π‘₯?
