โœฅ Perhaps the most superficial one, but... getting her own apartment. Living with Woody is great, but it's also like living with her parents again.

โœฅ Get that internship with Valentina Brightpat, the current editor-in-chief of Regency magazine and famous former-fashion designer.

โœฅ Stop being so afraid of rejection

    โœฅ Prove her parents wrong {They should trust her, dammit!}

โœฅ Think cottagecore/niche-memecore. Winnifred is always found in flowy skirts, tight, corset-esq shirts that have equally flowy skirts, and various shades of her favorite color: lilac. Never call it purple. She'll actually take off her show and beat you with it. Maybe not literally, but she'll at least threaten you with it. She's constantly cold with her fingers stuck in the pockets of her favorite sweater (Lilac, of course). It was also her first embroidery and successful sewing project (which she will tell you if you compliment her on it). Oh- speaking of sewing projects- 70% of her closet is self-made with fabric from the local thrift store. The other 30% is probably some over-priced look her fashion school friends made and needed to sell.

โœฅ If you found yourself in a conversation with Winnie, you'd be surprised about the number of times she twirls her hair. Without even meaning to, she works at the several curls that adorn her face, given she rarely wears anything other than her natural hair.

โœฅ Winnie's addicted to gm. She's constantly spitting out an old piece only to grab a new one. At least it's better than when she used to cram three pieces in her mouth at a time. Yet, she hates people who smack their gum. Have some respect!

Hazel lived most of her childhood in France. However, in her early teenage-dom, she immigrated and found herself in the city. From an early age, she's had her head filled with fantastical ideas- ones that could never come true. She dreams of wild fantasies that she knows won't come true, such as her dream to model for Chanel and live by Central Park. Believing this could happen would result in the utter destruction of herself, or so she fears. That being said, she isn't afraid to get what she wants.

    -๐•ฃ๐•–๐•๐•’๐•ฅ๐•š๐• ๐•Ÿ๐•ค๐•™๐•š๐•ก-

Hazel is, of course, Winnie's best friend and her model of choice. You can find more pictures of Hazel on Winnie's Instagram page than anyone else, including herself. They often spend whole days working on photo-shoots together, stopping at Dollar Tree several times to get the right props. Oh- and of course- they're all shot on film or with David Dobrik's app that operates like an early 2000s disposable.

Woody is a native to New York. He's lived in East Village his entire life, and it shows. Although he's slightly older than most people in the group, he already owns a gallery. He's ultra-supportive and rents out space to his NYU buddies at half the price he usually does. However, he can't seem to make is as an artist on his own. He can only seem to get his mother to buy his paintings.

    -๐•ฃ๐•–๐•๐•’๐•ฅ๐•š๐• ๐•Ÿ๐•ค๐•™๐•š๐•ก-

Woody is 1) the only man who has ever made Winnie question her sexuality and 2) her first solid father figure. Yikes! Of course, she isn't interested in him like that, but it's hard to not notice his bright eyes when he's splattering paint everywhere. Or when he calmly gives her the best advice she's ever gotten. Including her mother. Oh, and they live together. Arguably, Woody is more her friend than Hazel is, but that's because Hazel is a little more self-absorbed than most people and Woody is a little more caring than most.

Danielle desires money beyond belief. She wants a yacht, penthouse, a summer home, and even a fridge full of Pepsi. She wants to be beyond reproach. With fame as her guiding principle, she will have to choose if she wants to continue choosing herself over those around her or if she'll have the stereotypical change of heart. Despite her confidence that she'll make it and become the next sensation, she tends to get into things she hasn't really thought through.

Oakley is probably one of the best lyricists of her generation. However, the immense amount of LSD and pot she consumes while writing has lessened the amount of work she gets done. Oakley could be the next Hendrix if she tried, but she doesn't want to. She wants all the success and notoriety without the hard work required. Oakley only really works at a new song when it's nothing that's been seen before.

Do I need to say much? They're gonna end up together or so help me! I'll go forward and slap future Lindsay for EVER thinking of something otherwise. For now though, Winnie can be found at Oakley's numerous concerts, promoting for The Suburbanites, and even with the band during practice. She's oblivious to the obvious crush Oakley has on her, and she's denying to her very last breath the idea that she's attracted to someone so unlike her. They're just friends, duh! Although Winnie knows she's gay, it's still something she has a hard time acting on, convinced she can survive on self-insert fanfiction forever. How'd she tell her mom about Oakley, the goth princess of an ACAB band? How'd she go home? Could she go home?

E.T. earned his nickname this past year after coming into this group. He had the unfortunate bout of social anxiety and told Aaron his full name. He promptly came up with E.T., after the movie that came out earlier this year, and his persona was born. Coming from a different state with little friends or family, E.T. has been quieter than he usually is, if that's even possible. He feels a growing amount of resentment for his lack of success compared to Aaron's. He regrets not going to school, even if he could afford it. Now, E.T. works on writing captivating poetry that depicts these complexities- that reflects his own life. If only someone could notice his perceptivity of life.

If you haven't read my first few chapters of Ethan's story, then well 1) you should at least read the first one because it's pretty cutesy if you ask me & Oakley is a featured character in it and 2) I mean... It's Ethan! (I pray to GOD someone had a misguided h3h3 phase and got that reference). But enough about Ethan (we love him but 99.9999999% of the time he's in his own way. But so is Oakley. That's why they're best buds; they're hyper similar. However, Oakley is far more outgoing and wayyyy less poetic than Ethan. To some extent, she looks at Ethan as some sort of inspiration. Still, she spends more time helping him out of his most recent existential crisis than swapping lyrics for poetry.

How Alexander ended up in the same band as Oakley, he'll never know. All he cares about is changing the world with his music. Lofty, even he will admit, but he works tirelessly to do this. Despite being in a band, he believes he can do this all on his own.

    -๐•ฃ๐•–๐•๐•’๐•ฅ๐•š๐• ๐•Ÿ๐•ค๐•™๐•š๐•ก-

Look, half the time Oakley and Alex are in the same room, they're about to cut each other's throats. Maybe not literally, but sometimes... they still don't know why they're in a band together- other than because Cleaveland insists they be civil. Oh, and they're each other's first choice in drinking buddies. There have been many times where one of them is having an emotional crisis and the other has come over with a bottle of wine and jack (for later... after getting wine drunk doesn't fix the problem). They've also been buds since they were 8 and Alex's dad died. Some bonds can't be broken- even when they fight over whose turn it is to hook up the amp.

    The Drummer

    -๐•“๐•’๐•”๐•œ๐•˜๐•ฃ๐• ๐•ฆ๐•Ÿ๐••-

When Cleaveland isn't composing complex drumbeats and solos, he's around people. His little sister, his friends at the bar, and those at the AA meetings. He's constantly telling jokes; he's even considered a career in comedy. Cleaveland can't seem to move beyond life's qualms, and they continue to mar him. He's well aware that the chances of moving beyond them limit his ability to succeed. Cleaveland fears his return to the darker things he knew before The Suburbanites.

Cleaveland and Oakley have known each other since they found each other at the same AA meeting. Granted, Oakley was there because her mom feared she'd gone off the deep end after attending a rager (she was 19 at the time), but they found their way next to each other and remained friends since then. It was Oakley who worked with him on The Suburbanites, helping him get out of the slump he was in. Not that their relationship doesn't have problems. They're both super intrusive in on each others' lives. It wouldn't be Oakley and Cleaveland without Oakley checking his breath for liquor or Cleaveland calling her three times a day about her status with Winnie or the three girls she talks to on Tinder.

    Poet

    -๐•“๐•’๐•”๐•œ๐•˜๐•ฃ๐• ๐•ฆ๐•Ÿ๐••-

Aaron has always had an immense vocabulary. He can talk someone out of their own beliefs, so it's a wonder that Aaron wants to be a poet when he'd be better off a politician. Perhaps it's his belief that the use of LSD leads to deep artistic breakthroughs that disallow him from being anything else. He's a smug young man with a Columbia education and an anthology already published. It's a wonder why he stays in the East Village when he comes from white-collar money and a family that lives on the Upper East Side.

Don't ask how they became friends. It's embarrassing and involves Aaron ramming into her with a cup of steaming coffee while she was on her way to a show. Point is- they somehow became friends, despite how annoying he is. They have a weird relationship where they spend little time together doing fun things (if they do, it's when Aaron wants an excuse to spend time with Ethan and not make it obvious). Yet, when she wants to talk with someone about something important that she knows Ethan wouldn't be able to just ~listen to~ (bless his heart, but he does like to fix other people's problems with wisened advice that sometimes is just too much), Oakley goes to Aaron and vice versa. She knows all about Aaron's fear of coming out, has tried to help him (which hasn't done a lot of good and often results in them fighting), and his thing for Ethan. Aaron knows all about Winnie (okay, so everyone knows because she simply won't shut up about her and how pretty she is), her time at a frat house, and even her worries about Cleaveland and his drinking (which she promised to never tell a soul about, but she needed to let off some air to someone and Aaron has kept countless secrets of hers). They're each other's confidants.
