Yu Jia was born on February 25, 1998 in Beijing China making her the maknae of Star Beam. At a young age, she was exposed to sports especially swimming then shifted to dancing. She discovered K-pop through watching a Super Junior M's appearance in a TV show together with her friend. From then on, she strives hard in improving her craft even if she moved to Korea. She worked hard as twice as her unnies especially in Korean language and making herself not to look awkward in choreography thanks to her height. To combat xenophobia against her, she proved everyone wrong by having decent lines and contributed in songwriting for S/S 2019 so . Though she may be the center of Star Beam, she is not that greedy when it comes to spotlight. Through the years, she showed improvement as an idol. Yujia may be a savage maknae, but actually the sweetest girl who only deserves love from ByulBis.
