Biography: Sidone was born to Clarisse and Rene de Montbéliard of the famous Montbéliard family. As twins, both were raised together in one of their family's many estates just a little outside Strasbourg by a host of nannies, butlers and various other servants. Neither Rene or Clarisse was able to spend too much time with their daughters, despite their best efforts. Thus, the twins only really saw their parents on 2 occasions- their birthdays and the Montbéliard Christmas and New Year's celebrations. Seeing them on other occasions was quite rare, although there were occasional lunches and dinners sprinkled in between their parent's busy schedules. As a result of this, the Montbéliard grew exceedingly close to one-another. After all, they really didn't have any other children to play with at all with the exception of themselves.

As children, the Montbéliard twins developed several interests to keep themselves occupied. Sidone grew to adore the arts- she particularly enjoyed classical ballet and music and art. Sidone would spend hours playing the violin and the piano as a child. Celeste on the other hand, had a fascination for languages, reading and animals. She would spend hours in their extensive library, reading various types of books to keep herself entertained. The common interest both twins shared was that of movies- they loved watching movies. As children, they loved classical romantic comedies, but as they grew older, their tastes would eventually diversify as well. Celeste would lean towards dramas and historical fiction, while Sidone continued to love romantic comedies and romantic dramas.

At the age of 7, both girls were shipped off to boarding school- école lubeck. The Montbéliards had a long tradition of sending their children to école lubeck and that tradition was continued by Sidone and Celeste. In school, the twins remained as close as ever but ran in different friend circles. While Celeste would prove to be the more studious child, Sidone was often found in the company of the rebellious students, and later the artists. Though studious, Celeste was also one of the more popular students, well known for her approachable and charismatic nature. Taking after her parents, Celeste often headed several student groups and clubs, and participated in various extra-curricular activities well, most prominently equestrian sports. Sidone's boarding school experience was very different from her sister's. Taking after their maternal aunt, Fleur, Sidone had a colorful school experience to say the least. Often caught with the group of "unsavory" pupils, Sidone and her friends were often caught consuming alcohol and other contraband "substances" on campus, and were usually the center of various protests and rebellions. Rarely attending class, Sidone would rather be found in the art studios, or in some remote garden with her violin.

Their distinctly different schooling paths were reflective of their futures as well. Celeste would go on to attend the University of Paris for a degree in political science and international relations, and would further go on to Harvard Business School to get an MBA and eventually would join her family's business group- the Montbéliard Conglomerate, in hopes of eventually taking control of its administration. Sidone on the other hand, made waves of scandals in their family by choosing not to go to university at all. Instead, she wanted to travel, inspired by the infuriatingly bohemian attitude of her dear aunt Fleur. After various heated arguments with her parents, a compromise was achieved- for a year Sidone could travel anywhere she wanted. But after that, she would attend a university. And so, for a year, Sidone traveled across the globe, visiting every single country she could think of, doing various types of adventure sports, eating various types of cuisines and documenting it all on her Instagram. And that is how, Sidone de Montbéliard became one of the most influential travel bloggers. Still very much keeping her bohemian spirit, Sidone surprisingly agreed to go to university- NYU. Choosing to design her own degree, she enrolled in the Gallatin School of Individual Study to create her own degree- social media management and human rights. After NYU, Sidone chose not to pursue another degree and instead, joined the Montbéliard Conglomerate as well, working in media and communications.

While in university, the twins would make it a point to spend the summer with one another and would often do so in a different country. After all, winters were for family celebrations strictly. And now, both twins find themselves living and working in Paris for their family's company, and at the wedding of their friend- Aurielle de Valois.

How does your OC know Aurielle de Valois or Dimitry Vasilyev : Celeste and Aurielle were very close friends in their school years, and still remain so. Dimitry met a free-spirited French girl one summer in Mexico and instantly fell in love with her. And thus, they had a whirlwind of a summer romance, without ever learning each other's true names or identities. Years later, Sidone would come to learn her lover's identity to be Dimitry- the soon-to-be husband of her sister's friend. And in the interest of keeping the peace, they agreed never to speak of their romance ever again.

What was your OC doing when Elisabeth de Valois died (the night before the wedding):

Well, Sidone was in Dimitry room- she had slipped out of her room in the middle of the night after making sure no one would see her.
Celeste on the other hand, was missing all together. She had claimed to be with Aurielle and her friends. However, she only stayed for dinner and wordlessly vanished whilst they were in a Paris night club celebrating Aurielle's upcoming nuptials.

What motive does your OC have for killing Elisabeth de Valois:

The Valois business interests currently are a major threat to the Montbéliard group. However, this is nothing new. They have always been at odds in various interests. However, reports of Elisabeth de Valois secretly investing large sums of funds outside France has led to some concern among the Montbéliard family regarding Elisabeth's future plans. Those concerns were only solidified upon the rather sudden announcement of Elisabeth's granddaughter, Aurielle's wedding to Dimitry Vasilyev. According to the Montbéliards, the marriage, as with many things in their world is actually a strategic business agreement between the two families and represents the Valois' investing in Russia- a major geopolitical threat for Western Europe, as well as a important economic market. Rumor has it that Celeste was able to get her hands on some documents that Elisabeth de Valois would rather have the public be in the dark about. These rumors reached Elisabeth's ears, prompting her to take "precautionary measures" against Celeste. About a week back, Celeste's apartment was broken into- furniture was broken and papers were thrown about as the assailants were obviously looking for something. That something would be the documents in Celeste's possession. Along with that, the robbers also took a valuable family heirloom... valuable enough to kill for.

Sidone's motives are a lot more simple. A few years after her sordid summer romance, Sidone received a letter addressed to her along with a few pictures of her and Dimitry in compromising positions. The message of the letter was simple: stay away from him. The initialism of the letter were E.V- Elisabeth de Valois. But this was no simple letter. It was a threat from Elisabeth, who hoped to use Sidone to spy and steal from her sister, Celeste. Sidone refused of course, but was warned that it would "come at a grave cost."

What is your OC’s views on media:

Both twins accept the influence of media on modern-day society. Contemporary society is defined by media- journalism and social media. The technological boom is primarily responsible for this. Internet has advanced to such a degree that it has fundamentally transformed the world's conception of space and time. The world has never been this connected before and it comes at a cost of course. But there is also opportunity here- control the media, and you control the master narrative. Essentially, media used the right way can lead to unparalleled power.
