๐“…๐‘’๐“‡๐“ˆ๐‘œ๐“ƒ๐’ถ๐“๐’พ๐“‰๐“Ž ยท Rosalind is a heavy believer in the fight between good and evil. There's no grey matter in between - you're either good or bad and she strives to be as perfect and pure as possible. She refuses to lie (bending the truth is not lying is simply avoiding it), cheat or do anything that could possibly make her life a tad bit easier.

A loyal friend and follower - you will never see Rosalind put herself out there; she'd much rather be told what to do than give others orders. And yet, contradictory to popular belief, she somehow manages to be a completely and utterly independent person. Maybe because her parents have never truly been present in their family home (and their recent divorce has further fueled their absence).

There are many things she's insecure of, but often hides all of them behind a wide smile and eccentric clothes. She's so eager to please others, desperate to fit in to the point where she brown noses her way into everything. Doesn't like conflict - especially in the friend group because conflict means her having to choose between two people and Rosalind is really fucking indecisive and Can't we all just get along already???

The occasional nosebleeds and dizziness have become so frequent, she is surprised when she doesn't get one during the day. But the biggest negative aspect of her powers is being unable to take a closer look to her own future.

She's well aware how outsiders might react to her third eye and the lengths they will go to abuse her powers, so she desperately tries to keep it as secret as possible. She believes this sort of given was given to her for a reason and she wants to use it to make the world a better place.

She attributes it to the fact that her relationship with both parents and sister have always been a tad bid strained. Sometimes, it's her cat; other times it's the melody of her favorite song, but as of late it's Alyosha.

Both of Rosalind's parents grew up in foster homes - neither of them fully introduced to the people that put them on this earth. They don't seem to mind the mystery that surrounds their family tree, but after finding out that she's not as normal as she thought she was, all Rosalind wants to do is find out about them.

Her mother, Helena, is a walking mystery as it is - never shares the things she did when she was younger. If it wasn't for a conversation Rosalind unintentionally eavesdropped a couple of years ago, she would've never found out that her mom could've quite possibly been or is a twin. She's a cold, distant woman that doesn't like to talk other than when she needs to make a bargain or talk about a certain object's history. She has a degree in Art History from a community college in Denver and has known her now ex-husband since they were kids.

Her father, Dylan, is a complete opposite. Warm and friendly, makes new friends everywhere he goes. Never shuts up, always has something to say and most times he says a bit too much and gets his ass kicked because of it. Has struggled with alcoholism for most of his life (spirals every five years) and credits his now ex-wife for being his savior (three times in a row). Loves both his daughters, but doesn't have that paternal thing that makes him want to protect and coddle them like most fathers do. He'd rather treat them as one of his buds; people he enjoys watching television or playing video games with.

Rosalind's older sister of three years, Violet, is a fine mix of both their parents: friendly yet reserved; ambitious yet playful. She's at college at the moment and visits as often as she can. Still dating her high school boyfriend Bryan (they're doing long distance because she's in Arizona and he's in Philadelphia). She and Rosalind aren't close as sisters should be. They rarely talk for crying out loud, but make sure to stay in contact by liking each other's posts on Instagram and reacting to one another's stories.

Fiercely independent due to her parents being absent for a majority of her life. Often wonders about her family tree - was the only person in her class that didn't know where she came from and her mother's outburst when she asked about their family history has made her more curious as the years go by (especially after discovering her gift).

Rosalind's parents are divorced - have been for a couple of years now but every now and then her father decides to crash into her mother's basement. Whenever he's home, she does her best to avoid coming home as much as possible. It's not that Rosalind hates her does, she really does, but he's unemployed and there's always some else's to blame for his incompetence. Moments like these make her actually miss her sister's presence, despite them never being close in the first place.

A big chunk of her life changed drastically once Rosalind became aware of her gift and the power it holds. She became obsessed in mastering it (mainly because she wanted to see her own future) but further research revealed that no matter how hard she tries she will never be able to predict her own faith. Knowing about others makes Rosalind feel a bit nosy, but she's always been a curious soul and maybe her gift makes sense after all. It makes her wonder even more about her family history and whether someone else had the same abilities as she does.

Just when she thought that life couldn't get weirder, a mysterious figure walks into Rosalind's life. He has the most beautiful blue eyes she's ever seen and his quiet and cold. Rumors say that he was forced to immigrate from Russia due to his father's ties to the mob. Others say that he had ties to the mob. But Rosalind knows the truth - or, she's desperately tries to. You see, Alyosha Lebedev is the only person aside from herself whose energy she cannot see. But that doesn't mean that she can't see his aura and the one he possesses is darker than anything Rosalind has ever seen.
