15 Fashion Trends for Fall/Winter 2020


  • Girls, we have a piece of bad news: summer is over! It's back to school (or work) time, we passed Labor Day, and the weather is getting cooler.     1. Suits
    Yes, we knew it would have happened. Suits are still the most fashionable piece to wear, especially if you choose super-colorful ones. Wear them with sandals in this late summer days, pair them with sneakers for a casual-chic look or with ankle booties and pumps for timeless elegance.

    2. Drama Details
    Drama skeeves, drama shoulders, drama bows, drama sizes: it's all about getting the attention! Play with a drama piece to elevate and customize your look, and keep the rest of it basic.

    3. Mesh Transparencies
    Fall is not exactly the best time of the year to show some skin, however, it looks like mesh is still a trend. Try to pair your mesh top with high-waisted trousers and a teddy bear coat, and remember to wear a full-coverage bra underneath!

    Together with suits, blazer stays as a key timeless piece in our fall closets. You can wear an oversized blazer in a thousand different ways - over a lbd, with jeans and a hoodie, with a floral dress, on a shirt and a pair of classic pants.

    Turtlenecks are good for our throat's health and now even fashionable. You can wear them with a suit, thuck into your high-waisted denim, or under a summer dress during this transitional time.

    The chic, vintage-like capes are back on trend: wear them over skinny pants or with a short skirt and over-the-knee boots.

    Will we see more boots than sneakers? We are not sure, but we certainly know that boots are a huge trend this season. Choose over-the-knee boots for your chic outfit - they look great with mini skirts. And try to wear combat boots during your everyday life: they are quite comfortable and look good both with jeans and feminine dresses.

    8. Checks
    Not a piece of big news: checks come back regularly during fall/winter time. So you can pull out your old plaid and tartan trousers and scarves and rock them again!

    The king, the classiest, the most elegant: tweed is back. Try to wear a tweed blazer and skirt suit for a Chanel-inspired look, or mix this fabric with street style pieces such as combat boots and hoodies for a casual-chic look.

    Yes, they are back again: snake and leopard prints will dominate our fall wardrobe this year as well as the last one. Pick a printed piece and make it stand out by keeping the rest of your look monochromatic.

    12. Purple
    Isn't purple the most undervalued shade of the rainbow? This year, it will finally be the main character again: get ready for a purple invasion! This color looks good on anyone and can be paired with different shades: from black, white and beiges to pink, lilac, green and even yellow.

    Fashion is finally becoming greener: maybe this is the reason why green is such a popular color this year! Green looks great on brunettes: play with it by pairing it with a classic white or with bold, saturated colors such as yellow, orange, purple, pink.

    Who said we mustn't wear white after Labor Day? This tear we promise we will be wearing (snowy) white for the whole winter. Just pair it in a classic black and white look or keep it basic with some earth tones. Or you can be brave and wear a total head-to-toe white look, brighten up with a few color pops.

    15. Neon
    A pinch of neon yellow or lime will bring light to our fall/winter. Just choose a neon piece and keep the rest of your look quite basic!
