After Mr. and Mrs. Bender brought down two big bowls of popcorn and some punch, someone had an idea, "Let's play spin the bottle." Giggles all around. But Wallas was panicking on the inside. She pushed her fingers together in her lap, looking down at the scrunched up fabric of her jeans, "I need to go to the bathroom" she announced, quickly escorting herself to the nearest escape room. She looked at her glittery green eyes in the mirror, psyching herself up, "You got this Wallas, you've got this."
With a deep breath, she turned the brass handle of the door, jumping with surprise as Wilby met her on the other side, "You've got what, Wallas?" He rolled his head to the side with that stupid smirk. She wanted to slap it right off of his face. But her hand rose to cover the blush blooming on her cheeks, "Um... uh..."
"Wal, what's wrong? Are you alright?" This was why Wilby was one of her best friends, her best guys, because he cares, "Are you having girl issues?" And there it was.
"No, idiot," She huffed, "I'm just... nervous."
"About" Wilby rolled his hand to tell her to keep going.
"Wilby," she nearly whispered, "I've never kissed someone."
"Oh, Wal," Wilby throws his hand, "that's nothing, don't be worried."
