[NEWS] Star Beam released their version of "VK Mashup" for Descendants 3 soundtrack

Who would have thought that the K-pop girl group known for their princess-like image will lend their voices for the soundtrack of a movie about Disney villain's kids?
Star Beam dropped another bomb to everyone that they released their version of "VK Mashup" for the Disney Descendants 3's telecast in South Korea. The group already filmed the MV during their "Hit That Drum" promotions.Of course, It's not a Star Beam MV without an energetic choreography, they filmed their scenes in the bleachers and the hallway with several back-up dancers from different high school dance teams in Korea.
In the MV, the girls are not in their usual bright feminine princess-y image, but instead, they embraced their inner villain-girl crush side. Each girl wore outfit inspired by the characters of Descendants. Each detail are there for a reason. There are scenes that they recreate from the movie like Yujia vandalizing the hallway, Hyoshin in the chemistry lab with her mirror, Saeyoon running in the hallway, Ryuna in the library, Chloe & Yujia having arm wrestling, & Jeonah being disgusted with ChaeHyoSaeJia. Other than their own scenes, the clips of the movie franchise are also shown in the MV
But one notable detail is Chaehee, who wore an outfit inspired by Carlos (the late Cameron Boyce), wrote "오래 살아있는 카메론" (Long live Cameron in hangul) in the blackboard when the dog came to her. This scene was Chaehee's idea, not in the script.
Star Beam will embark on their first world tour starting tomorrow in Tokyo, Japan until late September in Dubai, UAE. They will have their own encore concert in Seoul in early October. Meanwhile, the movie Descendants will premiere in August 2 on Disney Channel.
