I hope you enjoyed tonight's concert & appreciate Star Beam & their staff's hard work!!!! without further ado, here's a quick recap of what's happening a while ago~~~Paragraphs (originally from the set descriptions) are reproduced as it is~~~
*Welcome to Star Beam's Mystery Club where they solve different mysteries but here comes the most challenging mystery yet~~~
Once upon a time, there is a princess who is about to be the new queen of her kingdom. On the night before the coronation, she held a ball where she met her childhood friends who also become queens but she died thanks to the poisoned wine. For centuries, the crown was kept for the kingdom to see. But one day, the crown was stolen
Years later, there is a group of young women who is determined to retrieve the crown, meet the Star Beam Mystery Club. They are very passionate to solve mysterious crimes in order to bring justice to those who really need it. Ryuna is the leader of the club, Chaehee is the driver of the group, Chloe is the translator, Hyoshin is the hacker & drone racer, Jeonah is in charge of weapons, Saeyoon is in charge the CCTV & Yujia is the undercover agent. No one knew that one of their members is the descendant of the princess.
Saeyoon traced the thief in the cafe who turns out to be the suitor of Ryuna thanks to the CCTV. That suitor is actually an art curator during the day & mafia boss at night. Hyoshin follows her Ryuna unnie through her drone. Chloe disguised as a barista in the cafe just to get the name of that mafia boss who woos her Ryuna unnie.
Meanwhile Yujia disguised as a delivery girl just to look at the stolen crown. Chaehee drives Ryuna to her date just to get the location.
At night, Hyoshin disguised as a security guard & hacks the CCTV (together with Saeyoon) & operating system of the museum. Before that, she gave coffee with sleeping pills for the mafia to sleep (so it won't be unnoticed) then Jeonah prepares weapons for the girls.
Saeyoon is the first one to enter the museum by dealing with lasers then Chloe, Hyoshin & Chaehee followed. As they try to retrieve the password, they saw the guns are pointing at them and they saw Ryuna being held hostage by her suitor becayse she seduced him in order the crown to be retrieved. But Yujia & Jeonah saved the rest of the girls by kicking butts of the mafia. After the all out fight, Star Beam Mystery Club already retrieved their crown & Ryuna tries on Jeonah who looks like the late princess.
In the end, the girls sat in their respective thrones looking like princesses they destined to be.*
*For their entrance, all members recreated their concept films scenes as the clock strikes midnight: Hyoshin ran away from the exit sign (LOL this dork), Chloe dancing with her nutcracker doll, Ryuna dancing to flamenco alone, Jeonah swinging in the air to seem like casting a spell on the rest of the girls: Chaehee, Saeyoon & Yujia (lying in the floor in the beginning of this) so they can wake up (to shock the audience, the girls did the scorpion dance which was popularized by Infinite) . All the members gather together for their dance break to perform the rest of their set list.
In the intro ment, the girls go to different areas of the stage to greet their ByulBis. Jeonah spotted her co-MCs Daehwi & Hyunmin who screamed "BAEK AH NOONA!!!!!!!" while Yujia spotted Music Bank MCs Bomin & Shin Yeeun (sadly, her MC partner in crime Johnny Suh unable to made it to this milestone because NCT 127 is in Singapore but they promised that they will attend their encore concert) . Yujia said that the audience looks so uniquely pretty and handsome. Chloe acknowledges their juniors in the audience, Cherry Bomb, & FXN. Ryuna said that they are so excited to share this important milestone to everyone. Chaehee said that enjoy the concert they prepared for their fans.
The stage set up was a fairy tale themed stage which is nothing short of spectacular. During "La Vie En Rose", there are confetti of roses showered on them, Chaehee & Yujia, being the main dancers they are, lead the dance break. In "Senorita", the girls brought our their fans & burning roses in the background. While in "Save Me Save You", the background reminded them of a magic school.*
The VCR showed the unnie line, doing a target shooting with a heart as a bull's eye. The girls successfully hit the bull's eye. At the end of the VCR, the clip showed the unnies with "STRBM U.N.I" Our spunky unnie line commanded attention for their sassy numbers which hyped up the audiences. Chloe showed off her rapping skills while harmonizing with the vocal line. During the ment, the girls tell stories of practicing "Kill This Love"
*The VCR of the maknae is basically the girls going to the dark alley (basically the West Wing of Beauty & The Beast subplot), the maknae took out the rose and all the girls were being pricked by a rose. Then the next shot of the girls in bed full of rose petals.
The cuties of maknae line is the epitome of cutie girl crush through their performance*
(IDK what I can say but they're so cute & talented uwuuuu)
Fanboys & fangirls, prepare for a nose bleed cause two best vocals of Star Beam will join forces for "Baby Don't Stop". This performance will guarantee a bias-wrecking moment for their sexiness & talent (& occasional gayness). Ryuna rapped while Hyoshin showed off her dancing skills.
*Yeah, Chaehee is vocal line too but she is actually a great dancer. If Chaeng will perform "Baby Don't Stop" it will not be surprising. Star Beam's Rap-Dance Line proved to their haters that they can sing too & they are not just pretty faces.
They will wear these kind of outfits for their mellow stages*
*Ryuna & Hyoshin came out again after the Rap-Dance Line's performance. This time, Hyoshin came with a guitar to play for this stage. This time, the girls of Star Beam showed off their vocal skills live (They look like angels in white, right?)
Ryuna & Hyoshin sang like angels in mellow stage but they dance like devils in "Baby Don't Stop"*
The girls finally showed up together in military jackets look like princes opposing to the princess looks from the opening. Their jackets are open for "Superhuman". The girls talked a lot in this part. Also another shookt moment: All girls twerked during "Rumor" (promise, Star Beam twerking is rare) & hip thrusts in the Boy group mashup (SEUBIM OPPAAAAAAAS). As you can see, the girls are committed to their songs to the point that they shookt everyone though all of them are legal aged women. Hyoshin sang her high note a key higher than usual in "Hit That Drum" & "Bang". Yujia & Ryuna are in charge of the high notes during "Superhuman" (Chaehee & Hyoshin also did ad-libs). Chaehee & Chloe did high notes in "Paradise". Let's also appreciate Chloe & Jeonah singing in lower registers in some songs
*Instead of a tight choreography, Star Beam re-entered the stage the last time with their rendition of a trot song since Chaehee & Ryuna are the lovers of trot music. Instead of a perfectly synchronized choreo, the girls are everywhere being a mess during "Rokkugo" (imagine, the headbanging, the exaggerated dance moves, the ahjussi dance from Chaehee, the dolphin scream, "Switch it Up", balloon fights, in short, they give 0 Fs) . Aside from that, they throw candies & stuff toys. Some members took selcas in phones of the lucky ByulBis.
After their choreography ended in "Meet You on the Dancefloor", the girls are surprised when an AVP (Audio Visual Presentation) of their journey from their debut until now (which was made by ByulBis & it wasn't part of the original set list but MBF gladly permitted this fan project) with "Forever" as their background music. Once the AVP presentation ended, the girls turned to an audience & everyone raised their banners saying, "A WHOLE NEW WORLD FOR YOU & ME" (blame Hyoshin for this because her solo Speechless & her viral fancam of her singing "A Whole New World". The girls cried hard thanks to their surprise. It's only the first night of their tour and all of them cried of happy tears. All girls thanked everyone of the support & they will bring their love everywhere they go.
A teary eyed. Yujia comforted Chaehee & Hyoshin unnie who were lost at words because of the overwhelming emotions. Yujia is the first one to bring tissues for her unnies & lastly for herself. Chloe kept her cool at first but she cried as well. Saeyoon teared up a little & Jeonah hugged her dongsaeng. Ryuna supposed not to cry while making her final speech but seeing her dongsaengs cry makes her cry too. They say nothing but gratitude to everyone who attended the concert.
The Korean members are thanking their parents (except Ryuna who has her older brother, her sister in law & her nieces representing the Song family in the concert because her parents have an important business back in Daegu) while Chloe & Yujia said that their family will watch their shows in respective hometowns.
After the last song, Saeyoon said that they should stop crying & they will take a picture with ByulBis. Their lovable manager oppa (their 8th member & their trusted aide) came onstage to take a picture of them. But he left the stage immediately to the dismay of the girls. The girls called their team behind this successful kick-off for the photo op & the final bow.
