Star Beam eras as Old + New Generation K-pop concepts

  • Here's a rundown of Star Beam's eras since their 2017 debut (if you don't know them yet through Polyvore)

WHATEVER ERA (School Girl Crush) = Irony (Wonder Girls) + Rum Pum Pum Pum (f(x)) + Ooh Ahh (Twice) + Boombayah (Black Pink)

    • "Whatever" era is Star Beam's debut song back in 2017 which they take on the popular girl crush concept

SYNDROME ERA (Roller Girls) = Hot Issue (4Minute) + Syndrome (Chocolat, yup this is the song inspiration) + Bingle Bangle (AOA) + Navillera (GFriend) + Boombayah (Black Pink)

    • In this era, SeuBim got their first win thanks to their unique roller skate performance. Roller skates are Star Beam's glass slipper. This time, they showed off their bright charms

  • K-pop inspired by sets

MERMAID PRINCESS (Fairytale) = Mermaid Princess (Mystic White) + Party (SNSD) + Good Luck (AOA) + Siren (Sunmi) + Wonderland (Gugudan) + That Day (Lovelyz)

    • This iconic 2017 song makes waves (pun intended) that makes Star Beam who they are now. From then, many people believed that they are real-life princesses .

I'LL BE THERE (90s) = I'll Be There (Spica) + Lady (EXID) + Everyday I Love You (ViVi)

    • I know Lady was released in 2018 but here we are~~~ The girls who are all born in the mid-late 90s trying to bring some 90s brightness for "I'll Be There"

I know that EILY was more of Syndrome but at that time, I don't know what does Stan Loona even mean & it's 90s themed so

    CLICK (50s PIN-UP) = Gun (9Muses) + Hoot (SNSD)

    • one of the most iconic styling of Star Beam since they take on sexy concept with a classy manner. They can still look sexy no matter what they wear. Opposite of Super Boy, Click is about straightforwardly telling the guy that she doesn't like him.

SUPER BOY (Suit Girl Crush) = Sorry Sorry (Super Junior) + Super Girl (Super Junior M) + Wild (9Muses) + Dolls (9Muses) + Mr. Mr. (SNSD)

    • You can say that "Memory Lane" is Star Beam's ode to the second generation K-pop (Click & Super Boy are the title tracks). This time they wore suits with girly details & came back with a late 2000s inspired dance quick synth track. Super Boy deals with letting go of a one sided relationship by putting a front for not to be hurt again.
