Theia - My Life as a Multiple #32

Theia is one of Mel's alters. I always think Mel's alters are more interesting than my alters are. Theia won't disappoint in that area. Mel's is talking to me as I write which I call her being co-present with me. Theia loves to wear hats. She is the only one of us all that does. Most of us think we look funny/weird in hats. But not Theia. She loves them.
Theia also loves the ocean. We have a day trip to the ocean planned soon and Theia is very excited about it. She, like most of both Mel's and my systems feel energized by the beach and the sights and sounds of the ocean. Theia is a serious alter but she becomes almost playful when she is at the beach.
Theia is very religious. She was born during a time when we were part of a very fundamentalist church. We were held at gunpoint inside a church office for several hours which caused us severe trauma and required a hospitalization. My protectors tried to come out and protect us but it wasn't enough. It was a terrible time. Theia came along to help us through it all. She actually talked the gunman into leaving the church so the authorities could be called. It saved our life. The gunman came to church the following Sunday waving his loaded gun around and had to be subdued and relieved of his weapon by the ushers and deacons. The police were called and this time they took him to jail. I was already in the hospital by this time.
Theia has read the Bible through several times and has a vast amount of Biblical knowledge. Theia has a deep faith in God and often prays for our friends and others. Theia is the only one of Mel's system that is religious. She and Angel in my system are very close in this regard. They both pray and feel a deep closeness to God.
Theia is still an important alter to us. She helps our family in many ways. I'm so grateful to you, sweet reader, for reading along this long. It means so much to us that you are still reading and as always your comments and "hearts" on the blog mean more than you will ever know.

She is beautiful sweetie, glad you are going to the beach. The ocean seems so magical, I love the ocean. My favorite beach is Newport Cali, loved the little ferry over to Balboa. Sorry about being held by a gunman, that would do me in also. Bless Theia, she is anangel too!

@sjlew Our favorite beach is Huntington Beach. It’s where I grew up. I think you may be right about Theia. She is rather angelic with an angel name. Hugs and love!

I love the beach also, my family and I have been to several of the Hawaiian islands and my husband and I have been to a couple of Carribbean islands and as much as I love my home state of Texas, (we are 45 minutes from the beach) those places have magical beaches, so beautiful you can get lost in them. I'm so sorry you had to go thru that trauma of being held by gunpoint, I can't even imagine! You do have angels looking out for you! Love and Hugs, Rhana xoxo

@surfergirl3915 Huntington is pretty, that is the very first beach I set foot on when I was little, we had family living in Cali, the ocean and Disneyland were dreams to me, do any of your alter love Disneyland?

@sjlew omg, yes!!! Angel adores Disneyland. We had season passes and may need to get back there again soon. It really is her happy place. The littles love it too! We always have to get Angel a Mickey Mouse balloon or we can’t leave. Lol. Thank you so much for your sweet comment! Hugs and love,

@surfergirl3915 I think we all have angels looking out for us! I had wanted to go to Hawaii since I was a little girl and finally got to go when my son was 16 (the Big Island) and we went back to another island (Kauai, my favorite) when he graduated from high school, then my niece and her husband moved to Ohua because he was in the Army so I went once by myself and my husband and I went once for Christmas to spend with the little ones. Anything is possible. My husband tries to do whatever he can for me because of my health. Course we have been on vacation in a few years because of it now.
