[NEWS] Star Beam impresses everyone in their second Manila visit for KWMF 2019

After their successful first Manila visit, Star Beam returns to Manila in another music festival this time with Elris, Donghan, Red Velvet & NCT 127. The girls wore different shades of blue to celebrate Chaehee's birthday. (Interactions are coming 👀)

In their set list, the girls knows how to trigger nostalgia just by performing Infinite's 2011 hit "Be Mine". As you know, Infinite has been a role model & inspiration to the girls since debut (that's why they are known for their synchronization). They performed "Be Mine" as a tribute to the legendary septet who celebrated their 9th anniversary.

They recently came back with "Hit That Drum" which has a well received response from the fans & general public since Star Beam knows how to make themselves different in the sea of summer comebacks in K-pop. Instead of "in your face" performance of singing about the beach & summer romances in their title track, they opted for a nostalgic summer concept with majorette inspired performances which is very common in the Philippines (because every Filipino school has their own marching band or drum & lyre corps). Aside from the Filipino connection, the girls also drew inspiration from "High School Musical" & After School's "Bang". The girls shows baton twirling tricks in their performance.

Star Beam have a good banter with Ryan Bang whom they interacted with when they visited "It's Showtime" back in early March 2019. Chloe spoke on behalf of the members while everyone injected random Tagalog words during the ment.

The girls have a good time in their second Manila visit & they promised to hold their own show when the right time comes. Hope y'all cheer for Star Beam, Elris, Donghan, NCT 127 & Red Velvet 🙂
