IT'S NEVER DULL

    @surfergirl3915 YAY!!!!!!!

  • Twisted Gypsies

    @surfergirl3915 PS: Two questions:

    1. Age? (I'll be 54 in two weeks!)

    2. Which of your alters comments on my sets? Tell the one who is most easily pleased to do the commenting.

    The second question was tongue in cheek. I am NOT making fun of you or your condition. I'm just being playful! 😍

    @funkyjunkygypsy Question #1 - really hard to explain. The body is 64. However I do not feel or function as that age. Mel does. My age is mid to late 20's. Why? It's a very long story.

    Question #2 - I comment on your sets and Angel does. I think we would both be thrilled by comments. I'm not sure if I answered your question.

  • I'll try to keep this short, but it appears we have some things in common. I have Bipolar Disorder type 2, and it has been progressing for years, regardless that I am on several medications that help greatly. I function much better than I did, but the symptoms are still prevalent. I now sleep in chunks of time (never more than 5 hours), and am up at all different hours, and this place has become my source to fulfill the need for creative outlet. It also fulfills the need for collecting things (and saves me a lot of money, since instead of shopping, I "hoard" items). My life revolves around keeping my mental illness in check, and until the time comes when I have a better handle on it, I'll be in therapy. I've found that my life functions more smoothly by giving in to the things that my illness desires, such as not being out around people much, rather than forcing myself out when I find it debilitating to do so. If it doesn't hurt you to have profiles for all of your alters, then you should do so. If it does cause harm in some way, then don't do it. This is what happened to me with the sleep thing. I sleep less at one time, but sleep several times a day. It evens out.
    Wishing you well,
    Jo

    @surfergirl3915 I understand what you mean. It very much surprises me that "the body" is 64 you have always given me the vibe of being in your early 20's and now I understand why.
