From the blog to the shop: 3 amazing fashion brands created by influencers

  • Nowadays, fashion bloggers and influencers are everywhere. They are mushrooming throughout social network. Sometimes they have success, sometimes they don't. Then, there are the big ones: influencers who started their journey when this wasn’t even considered a job, and who are still growing as fashion icons. Some of them, together with blogging and shooting pictures for Instagram, have jumped to the next level: they became fashion designers and entrepreneurs themselves.
Just a few days ago Tamara Kalinic launched her eyewear brand, and we’d like to take advantage of this occasion to talk about our favourite fashion brands created by influencers.

    1. So Shady by Tamara Kalinic

From nada to Prada”, says Tamara sometimes. The super-smart Serbian girl with a pharmacy degree started posting on her blog, the Glam and Glitter, as a hobby, and she ended up wearing Blumarine at Venice Film Festival and posing for Cosmopolitan’s covers. A few days ago, she finally launched her own brand: So Shady. So Shady is more than trend-setting eyewear, it’s an attitude”, explains Tamara in the shop description. “From the plane, to the show, to the party, So Shady maintains your sass whilst hiding your bags, and most importantly always keeps it fashion”.
Sunglasses are inspired by fashion month street style and from the structured architecture lines which are its background. Sunglasses’ shapes are very geometrical: from the cat eye to the triangle, from the square lenses to the hexagonal ones. They are proposed in mini or maxi sizes and in different colors, from the classic black to light blue, tangerine, pink, bordeaux. And they can be accessorized with silver or golden monogrammed chains. Our favourite? It’s So Sassy Rosé!

    2. Chiara Ferragni Collection by Chiara Ferragni

She is not an influencer: she is THE influencer. No need of explaining who Chiara Ferragni is: she basically invented fashion blogging. She launched her own brand, Chiara Ferragni Collection, back in 2013, as a shoe brand. Now, her empire valued 22 millions of euros includes also accessories, swimwear and clothes, all branded with the iconic eye and all inspired by a young, urban, fresh style. You can buy Chiara Ferragni garments and accessories both online and in all the stores she is opening all over the world. Our favourite piece? It’s the crop Flirting Eye hoodie, but we are keeping our eyes also on the new dresses and skirts – they are so LA style!

    3. Lovely Pepa Collection by Alexandra Pereira

Never in the same place for more than 2 weeks, Alexandra Pereira is the incarnation of the globetrotter. After years of Lovely Pepa blog, the Spanish influencer launched a collection of clothes inspired by her jet-set lifestyle. Casual but feminine, boho but modern, Lovely Pepa Collection clothes are perfect for the modern women. “With this collection, I really wanted an emphasis on basics and tunics that were free-spirited in style, but crafted with a quality, tailored design”, explains Alexandra on her website. In fact, the collection includes a lot of basic, easy-to-wear pieces such as sweaters, suits, pants, dresses, t-shirt, berets, boots, sandals, straw bags, jackets, sweatpants, that can be mixed and matched among themselves. Our favourite piece? Well, Lovely Pepa’s range is so big that it’s hard to choose a favourite. For this springtime, we’d chose Jasmine Romper.
