Established in 1999 by Korean folk singer Yang Soo Min , Serendipity Music has become THE kpop company. If GS ent created the "idol" then serendipity perfected it but unlike his competitor, Soo Min has yet to have any major scandals. His company, for the most part, has a clean reputation, former idols having nothing but nice things to say about him and Serendipity. Serendipity Music while strict on their trainee's and idols offer them several services - not limited to dietitians, visits with mental health specialist, regular health check-ups and place high priority on making sure every idol/trainee graduate high school. Unlike their competitors, Serendipity tend to give established artist more artistic freedom letting them have a large hand in the production, songwriting and picking concepts. Serendipity is debuting the highly anticipated new girl group Cherry Bomb.

In 2013 Serendipity debuted their second girl group femme(fatale) an at the point was a ground breaking group, at the time the only group to have a dual concept. Their debut song was a hit, but a slow grower taking 5 weeks to get their first win. From then on the group continued their success switching between innocent and feminine to darker and more powerful concepts. Their status as one of, if not, the girl group is undisputed but with their age knetz have begun to turn on the group suggesting that they need to retire because there are newer younger groups.

Debuting in 2015 Serendipity latest boy band RΞPLΔY was meet with almost immediate success, they had high digital and physical sales and earned their first win two weeks after their debut. They managed to maintain and grow on that success being labelled the biggest boy band currently but with great success comes insane amounts of pressure, the boys have openly spoken about the issues they have with the industry and fame. Despite their very valid comments on the world of celebrity people started turning on the group labelling them ungrateful and saying that celebrity are rich and famous what problems could they possibly have. Despite that their success barely seems effected with a highly dedicated fanbase making sure the boys continue to thrive, but with that comes more promos, tours and public appearance with the boys seemingly getting closer and closer to burning out.
