Ways to decorate if you rent


  • Hello, if you rent a property, it's often hard to put your personality into your home. Here are some ways to get some style and decor in your rented place.

    4- Plants a great way to decorate without leaving marks when you leave. It can add texture and colour to your room. Depending on your plant you can gain your style in your home. Such as sleek plain pots for modern look, bright pots for bold styles or metallic plant holders for a french/vintage style.

    5- The type of furniture can switch up your room. From the dresser, table and chairs. You can add some colour to otherwise white/beige room with bold coloured furniture. You can DIY your own by painting or adding fabric. Upcycling furniture makes your room personalized and unique.

    6- Switching up the lampshades is a great idea. You can add colour easily. It's not very expensive either. Leaves no damage when you leave too. You can get really any style of lampshade you can imagine from metal, chandeliers and patterned. Think of room theme before buying yours.

    8- Dressing a table is great to add personality. Try candles, vases, flowers and trays. Pick a few items that go well together. Try to go for key pieces not fill your tables. Your table could be coffee table, dinning table or bedside. It's down to you to dress your surfaces.
