    Star Beam arrived in Manila at 7 AM & they were spotted by locals strolling around SM MOA like another group of random tourists without being mobbed by crazy fans. Seubim posted random IG stories of them enjoying dirty ice cream (guys, it's not really dirty per se) & riding kalesas. Chloe took amazing photos in the group SNS of the beautiful Manila Bay sunset

    March 7, 2019 - 2019 K-pop Friendship Concert in Manila + "I AM" 1st Win at M Countdown

    The members of Star Beam wowed Manila with their infectious songs, dancing & singing prowess, genuine fan service to their lavender & periwinkle field, & serving gorgeous visuals for the 2019 K-Pop Friendship Concert alongside Silent Sanctuary, NCT Dream, April & Noir.

    During the press conference, the girls are all smiles & have nothing to say about the Filipino brand of hospitality & they remembered that the fans came to take a picture with them. The members praised how their Filipino fans are very passionate yet they know their limits as they make a way for the girls to roam freely in the NAIA. Also the girls are very aware that there are a lot of K-pop fans in the Philippines. Aside from the millenials & Gen Zs , there are K-pop fans who happens to be legendary celebrities ((for example Sharon Cuneta, who is a legendary actress,singer & TV host known as the Megastar, happens to be an NCTzen) & the girls are very flattered & said that they will work hard to be that group whose talent is recognized by different people regardless of the background.

    In the concert portion, the girls performed their latest song "I Am" (this is the first time they performed their comeback song in an overseas schedule) & their biggest hits, "Super Boy", "Syndrome" & "Mermaid Princess" which solidified their bright crush image which blends the bright & youthful concept of the 1st & 2nd generation with the girl crush image of the present generation. Of course, their overseas set is not complete without a song from the country they're performing. This time, they perform Sarah Geronimo's earlier releases "Sa Iyo" to trigger nostalgia to the audience & knowing that they make an effort to learn the choreography in the MV but with a few tweaks. They ended their set with "Starry Moment". Star Beam is trying to randomly speak Tagalog & the Filipino slang in their ments cracking up the audience. Meanwhile on the backstage, they hyped up their fellow artists & waving their light sticks & slogans.

    Today also marks, the first win of their latest song "I Am" when the MCs told Star Beam during the ment that they just won their first music show win for "I Am" in today's M Countdown episode & the girls are doubting if they really won or the MCs just pranked them. To show the receipts, the MCs read the tweets about their first win & congratulating them. The entire audience screamed "Chukkahae SeuBim!"

    During the encore, the girls cried really hard especially the usual suspect Chaehee when Silent Sanctuary (the sole OPM act of the lineup), NCT Dream, April & Noir hugged & congratulated them for a job well done. As promised they did the Angry Bird ceremony this time with the rest of the artists showing off their crackhead side. They don't need the Angry Bird onesies since they dress like birds anyway (said by both ByulBis & haters LOL).

    Star Beam will have their own guestings in "It's Showtime", "Myx Moods", "ASAP Natin To" & "Gandang Gabi Vice" (all of these are in ABS-CBN) .
