URSTYLE TUTORIALS
-
@owlsofmarie Hi! A search under any heading should bring those items up. The biggest problem is that so many items are not properly titled. I know I've seen trees and foxes within some sets. Therefore I know they available within Urstyle. They just are not titled as a fox or tree. So it makes it difficult to search for items. You might want to search for collections with those titles or in the foxes case search animals. Many Urstyle members are happy to share the items they uploaded and have everything in collections. Good luck in your search for items.

@owlsofmarie I'm very glad that you found the tutorials helpful!
@AngieM is right about item titles. Thanks for your response, dear!
It may be a good idea to check this thread where users share their uploads: https://urstyle.com/topic/665804/user-uploads-sharing-hunters-and-gatherers-unite/337
You can bookmark this link or access this thread by clicking COMMUNITY link > SAY HELLO > "User uploads & sharing (Hunters and Gatherers, Unite)" (it's a pinned
topic).
You can also access all user collections from the side menu (≡) - button "COLLECTIONS" : https://urstyle.com/collections
You will see a search bar on top when you open this link and you can type stuff like "nature", "backgrounds" and similar as a keyword to find nice collections.
You can also upload any items from the web using the URSTYLE Clipper - you can get it from here: https://urstyle.com/about_clipper
ART section will soon be added to the Creator menu and that will make creating a lot easier for artists and doll makers
Have a beautiful weekend!

@vn1ta
I am new to Urstyle and appreciate your tutorials.
I like to use frames and have found that I can not change the sizes to fit the images or vice versa. Is there a way to do that ?? Also I would like to be able to change the sizes of items using what I call free form.
Is that possible ??
Also, I have tried using the cropping feature and no altered image appears. After seeing the video I will try again.
Thanks so much !! KateO -
Hello @kateo
I'm glad that you're enjoying tutorials!
It is true, we cannot alter the shape of frames, but you can make them bigger or smaller by selecting them and clicking the double-end arrows
that appear on the edges of the object - just like on Polyvore, if you used it.
You can also crop png frames to make them fit the exact image (since png ones won't have white background that you'd have to crop). You can find a lot of frames in the ART section of the CREATE menu. For example, this is a png frame: https://urstyle.com/shop/10272899. You can crop parts of it and put them together over the picture (like I did here). Png frames will look like this when you enter the cropping tool.

@kateo As for the cropping tool issue, I think that you should try again today because the problem that you had might have occurred due to update that was done recently. If that doesn't help, please try the solutions posted here under Troubleshooting: https://urstyle.com/topic/1553017/faq. Please note that you can email Urstyle team via [email protected] in case you have a reccurring problem that won't go away.
Have a good day! -

@vn1ta When I am trying to access tutorial "HOW TO CHOOSE CONTEST WINNERS" it takes me to this page instead: https://urstyle.fashion/
Please help me to figure out how to add winner sets to the winners tab.

When it comes to creating quality tutorials on URSTYLE, it's important to be clear and concise. I found that focusing on the basics first, like layering, cropping, and background removal, really helps beginners. On a side note, if you need well-written content outside of fashion, especially for nursing-related assignments, check out nursing writing help. It offers some excellent resources that can be quite handy. Back to the tutorials—don’t forget to use step-by-step images and short descriptions. It makes the learning process smoother for everyone. Consistency is key, so keep it simple!
