NEWS: View all Urstyle collections :)

Dear ladies @CraftyGemini @Fassionista , I agree that we should be able to use Collections directly in the Editor. This feature was announced for the next Urstyle update
As for now, we're able to save the items that others uploaded by liking (clicking
) them - they will appear in the "LIKES" tab in the CREATE mode later. When it comes to our own uploads, they will appear in the "MY ITEMS" tab in the CREATE mode

Thanks for encouraging me today with this good news. I can't wait!!!!! Yippee!!!While they are in there, do you think they can fix the scroll where it doesn't take you back to the beginning of the page each time. Or even better, a bulk edit loader like they had in PV.
Yes, now we can like them and they are in our likes. And I did an experiment just now, that if you do put an item of someone else's, in a collection, it stays in the collection EVEN after you un heart it!! Just like it did on PV! So that's a plus!Also, while I've got you here, can we access other people's collections they've made too as long as we have hearted the collection? (Like PV)? We can on Olioboard too. They even let you search all the collections and use their items and add some of your own.
I know this isn't PV. In many ways, it's better. So please don't think I'm complaining! I'm not. I have good ideas all the time. hehe So if you need any other ideas, I'm your girl! Have a great Monday! xoxo

@craftygemini Yes, it seems to me too that Clipper attracted many people to Urstyle and I'm happy because of that! I'm hoping that we can be a big community again, like we were on Polyvore!

As for the scroll that returns you to the beginning - I've heard that other Urstyle members unfortunately had this problem too. I personally use this method (for liking or opening multiple items and adding them to collections): right-click on the item or set title > select "Open link in new tab" from the menu

You can see and access all the collections that you've liked (made by other members) when you go to your profile and select the tab "LIKES"
However, we're still not able to edit collections on Urstyle, but I have heard that this will come with the next update (next update will practically have a big impact on collections in general, if I understood well) I hope that my answers helped a bit, but feel free to ask additional questions

@izzystarsparkle I'm sorry, I butted in here. But why would you want to do that? We were even able to look and use items out of other people's collections while we are creating. Very useful. Just don't understand.

@craftygemini It's all ok. I didn't take your comment as negative. I totally understand what you were saying. When I went back on create tonight a saw you could do a search by name of collections.

@izzystarsparkle Do you mean while you are creating a set you can access the collections to the left of the screen? I can see where the pull down menu is. And if I click on collections, I can search there. But I have to save my draft and completely go out of that screen and go back in. Open my draft, then I can see the items I liked from collections. Which is really cumbersome. But unless I need to do something on my end, IDK

I just wanted to tell you this - I think that new Collection feature (in the "3 lines menu" on the left) wasn't intended to be used at the same time as the CREATE mode - these are separate functions, I think. You can open them in 2 tabs, of course (to avoid potentially loosing your work). But please note that our LIKES tab (in the CREATE mode) is not updated in real time (as we "like" new items). The same applies to "MY ITEMS" tab - the preview is updated only after the page is refreshed (by clicking F5 or FN+F5 on your keyboard OR simply reloading the page).
According to the posts I've seen on the forum, next Urstyle update will be largely focused on Collections. Among other things, we will be able to access Collections directly inside the CREATE mode!
I wrote to admins about this (LIKES/MY ITEMS not updated in real time), so I hope they can solve that problem
