How can I save Instagram Stories using a downloader tool?

I had a few Instagram Stories from a family trip that I wanted to keep for later. I didn’t want to screenshot everything because some of the clips were short videos. What’s the easiest way to save a Story with a downloader tool?

I’ve used browser-based tools for this a couple of times. Usually, you copy the Story link, paste it into the downloader, and check whether the Story can be processed. I find that pretty handy when I only want to save a few public Stories instead of installing another app.

I ran into the same thing after a weekend trip when I wanted to keep a few public Stories with travel ideas. I checked some browser options and found the basic process pretty easy. One tool I came across was SnapTik, which I tested by copying the available Instagram link and pasting it into the page. After that, I could check the result before saving it. I liked using a browser because I didn’t need to install anything extra. I’d still make sure the Story is public and that you have permission to save or reuse it, especially if it belongs to someone else. For personal archiving, though, the process can be quite convenient when you only need a few Stories.
