I’ve been testing different sources to get stronger backlinks, and the results are inconsistent. Some placements look great on paper but don’t move anything in practice. I totally get it, those "pretty numbers" in Ahrefs can be so misleading, and a link from a low-DR site often packs more punch than one from a spam-inflated giant. I’ve stopped trusting random screenshots in my DMs and now just look for dofollow backlink providers in categorized marketplaces. It’s much easier to see who actually specializes in your niche and compare terms without the high-pressure sales pitch. It’s helped me track down placements that actually move the needle instead of just padding my stats.
