JESUS CHRIST IN OUR HEART!!♥ ♥

So that Christmas is not reduced to a mere celebration, accompanied by a sensation
of romanticism, without practical consequences for our life, we must delve into its
origin and meaning. Christmas is not a simple birthday party or a celebration
periodical account of the mystery of the childhood of Jesus. Christmas is something deeper, because
it supposes the entrance of God in our history. In this sense, Christmas is not only
memory, but also a presence, since Jesus Christ has entered our history and
he has stayed with us forever.
Paul's epistle to the Philippians contains a detailed description of the meaning
theology and purpose of Christmas. This description appears in Philippians 2:5-8: "Be there,
Therefore, in you this attitude that was also in Christ Jesus, who, although he existed in
form of God, he did not regard being equal to God as something to cling to, but
he emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, making himself similar to men. Y
being in the form of a man, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to the point of
death, and death on a cross.
Here we are talking about a Jesus with a human body, that is, the birth of Jesus, what
which is equivalent to talking about Christmas. The apostle qualitatively describes this event with
the expressions "he emptied himself" and "humbled himself". Both contain the idea of a
decline or loss. For Paul, Jesus gave up his special place with God,
and he obtained an unprivileged place among human beings. It is remarkable that Paul speaks of the
dispossession and humiliation when he is not mentioning the well-known details: the manger, the
stable and the economic modesty of his parents. Even without mentioning these details, the
Theological perspective of this author leads him to conclude that Jesus humbled himself. Paul sums up the
Christmas purpose. The text continues this way (Philippians 2:9-11): "Therefore God
He exalted him to the highest and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that before the
name of Jesus every knee should bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and all
tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Although the date is not exact and the origin of the festivity does not seem very pure to us, it is nice
have one day a year to celebrate that God loved us so much that he did not leave us without the option of
salvation. He took the initiative, sending Jesus to be born, to live and die for each of
us. Thanks to his sacrifice and love, we have been adopted as children of God and the
Christmas time gives us a natural opportunity to share this good news with those who
They are part of our life.

You left your throne and crown for me
when he came to Bethlehem to be born.
But it was not given to You to enter the inn,
and in a manger they made you born.
Come into my heart, oh Christ,
for in it there is room for you.
Come into my heart, oh Christ, come,
for in it there is room for you.
You came, Lord, with your great blessing,
    to give freedom and health.
More with hate and contempt they made you die,
although they saw your love and virtue.
Sublime praises the heavens will give
when you come glorious from there,
And your voice between clouds will say come to me
That there is a place next to me, for you

    Isaiah 9:6
For a child is born to us, a son is given to us, and the principality on his shoulder; and his name will be called Wonderful of him, Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
