Star Beam is back with a new EP, "Chasing The Sun" with "Mi Sol Amor" as the title track. After more than a year of group and solo activities, the girls are happy to release new music.
Welcome Back, Star Beam! What are you doing in between "Flaming Heart" era & "Mi Sol Amor" era?
RN: Thank you for welcoming us back! I finished filming Dear.M after Valentines' Day but I hope it will premiere soon. I'm very happy to make new friends while making this drama. Also thanks to drama, I have Kun now
CH: I promoted with STYLISH. It's a learning experience for me. I worked hard in improving my rap and songwriting skills through this project
CL: I really work hard in producing some tracks our new album in which we are very excited to share it with you~~~
HS: I was picked by Disney Korea for "Raya and The Last Dragon". It's an honor to sing for them again since I'm a Disney fan. Chloe & I hosted Idol Radio
JA: Aside from preparing for our comeback and being the M Countdown MC, I just eat, play games and sleep... and annoy Jeno... Sorry guys

YJ: Aside from modelling for a clothing brand and MC-ing for Music Bank, I was in "Hello My Youth" a C-webdrama as Xiaojun's sister and I was featured in NCT Dream's "Dive into You"
What inspired this comeback as a whole? ( question by @skylime )
RN: Our concept is a goddess concept specifically in the story of the golden apple of discord that started a war which is...
CL: It's Illiad, unnie
RN: Yeah... then all of us have a representative goddess for this era. We want to express that there is no need to fight in order to be the fairest because after all, we are all beautiful in our own way and we are just parts of a greater whole.
CL: I agree with Ryuna unnie. Also the Helen of Troy part was inspired by the femme fatale or seductress jokes thrown at us by some netizens just because we dated handsome men and they thought that we will cause our boyfriends' downfall. But no, they are still flying high thanks to their hard work. Basically, it was our take on how others view our relationship and we just correlate it to the golden apple and Helen minus the abduction part. This is quite more difficult than "Flaming Heart"
RN: For this comeback, I'm Hera, Chaehee is Artemis, Chloe is Aphrodite, Hyoshin as Amphitrite, Jeonah is Athena, Saeyoon is Iris and Yujia is Persephone
What are some TMIs from MV shooting? ( question by @wannabe )
CH: A lot... Like the drinks we have in the prologue film and the actual MV are non-alcoholic mocktails because we have to practice self-control at work. After the filming, we actually drank together
YJ: Johnny oppa is very fun to work with. We chose him because... he's handsome /members' cringe/ just kidding, he wants to be in our MV. BTW, we watched "Troy" & "Percy Jackson" movies while planning
JA: So just like Chloe said, the femme fatale jokes was translated in the MV when we hold handcuffs, whips, ropes and blindfold for the English version
(THIS IS NOT FOR KIDS)so KNetz will not make a fuss for no reason
We are all grown women here heheheheRN: I have to admit that Johnny's eyes are so beautiful that's one of the many reasons why Yujia is so in love with him
HS: I cut my hair in order to avoid confusion with Ryuna unnie. People thought that Xiaojun & I broke up but the truth is, he accompanied me in the salon
SY: While preparing for our comeback, we changed our chat names into goddesses we represented so we can't forget
CL: During shooting the dance scene, whenever someone made a mistake, we just go on and then we monitor it. After that we will practice again. For a funny TMI, Hendery called me while we shoot the party scene and he though we were at the bar just partying around. Sorry, we are not party girls in real life. Also did you know that all of us are filming happily thanks to our baes brought us food. They even have a food truck with: "PLEASE TAKE CARE OF OUR QUEENS - SEUBIM LOVERS CLUB"
What is your first win pledge?
SY: We will release a dance practice video of us wearing Camp Half Blood shirts
What is the goal of this comeback?
HS: We just want to create beautiful memories with our ByulBis. That's already more than enough for us
