2020 Soribada Awards Recap: Star Beam

Star Beam showed off their classy side in their black and white outfits during the blue carpet. Since Jeonah is absent thanks to her weekly MC commitment, leader Ryuna brought a framed portrait of Jeonah to represent her. Being clowns, the members did a fake crying pose as if they are mourning for her absence. While AB6IX have an adorable way to have fill in Daehwi's absence through his doll, Jeonah was being clowned by the entire group. The clownery did not stop there, they even put a small table in front of their dressing room where Jeonah's portrait being accompanied by candles, candies and flowers while waiting for her to come. According to some idols, Star Beam are weirdos for staging a "funeral" for their absent member. BTW, Daehwi and Jeonah are the members of M Countdown Global Crew (Han Hyunmin is the third member)
Fans are elated to see Star Beam perform with boy group ONEUS as they cover the K-pop summer classic, "Woman on Beach" by COOL which was released on 1997. Each member showed off their refreshing chemistry as a unit. Thanks to the cover, we are hoping that the pandemic will be over so we can go on a trip right? Some fans are also delighted that Ravn & Yujia meet since Ravn was the Romeo in "Be Mine" performance (in Road to Kingdom) while Yujia is the Juliet in "Flaming Heart" MV
ByulBis know that one of Star Beam's best points is their fairy tale concept. In the VCR, the girls having a call back on their iconic eras: Chloe for "Mermaid Princess" era thanks to the aquariums, Chaehee & Hyoshin channeled their inner swans for "I Am". Jeonah is the Love Witch for "Love Is Over" era. Saeyoon is being bewitching dark princess. Ryuna casually being the queen she is and lastly Yujia channeled her inner Juliet
(more like Taylor Swift in "Love Story" MV)from their latest comeback, "Flaming Heart".The girl group looked like living princesses as usual. Continuing the fairytale theme, the girls performed the medley of their hits: "Mermaid Princess", "I Am", & "Love Is Over" by units then gathered together for "Flaming Heart" which is remixed for the nth time. The remix for Soribada is so good that we don't know what is next for the award season this year. The girl group won Social Artist Award, Female Popularity Award and a Bonsang
As for the dressing room shenanigans, Yujia is wilding while hyping up to Stray Kids' "God's Menu", Chloe screaming for NCT Dream, Hyoshin giving her famous sandwich to the birthday boy Jaemin, Jeonah channeling her inner Wyatt (a.k.a ONF's CEO of standing during Road to Kingdom), some idols were shookt with SeuBim's weird ass antics, all girls jamming to "Monster" & cheering for "Psycho" as SOTY (more SOTYs to come), it's unbelievable that Star Beam didn't lose their voice while being hyper in the dressing room.
