• Rey probably knew Tilly before Lily

• Maybe a state visit from Scotland, with the two girls close in age?

• I can imagine that they spent a lot of time together, even if they had not a lot in common

• Lily met the two of them when they went to Scotland for a little vacation

• In a little cottage that was kindly lent to them by the Royal Family

• Tilly insisted on visiting the couple and Michael had to tag along

• Tilly wasn´t the biggest fan of Ben probably, thinking of him as too reserved and too cold

• Something Michael could handle better

• Which might be because that Ben was anything but calm when they watched soccer (which probably happened regularly when Michael was living in London)

• When Tilly and Lily met, it was a match made in heaven

• Both were vocal and had no problem bonding over their shared interests such as art and museums

• After countless meetings, the two women shared a deep friendship

• It was also helpful that Tilly could help Lily prepare for her role as the future queen

• Whenever the two guys met for a soccer game, one of the girls would take a flight to London/ Edinburg and they would visit museums, theatres or cafes

• Lily made Tilly to her gardening buddy, no matter if she wants to or not (whenever Tilly protests, Lily looks at her with puppy eyes and just says: But the bees!)

• Which leads to Tilly teaching Lily the piano (which was… horrible. Sounded like a cat dying)

• They were also seen at Paris once after Lily gave birth to the twins

• It was a gift from Tilly, something like a push-present (even if she would prefer not to use that word, it grossed her out)

• 3 Days in the city, including shopping sprees and strolling through the best museums in the world

• Tilly was also made one of the godmothers of their daughter and the daughter had the middle name, Matilda

• To which Ben joked that that means that he didn´t have to name his son Michael

• While Lily and Tilly were out and about, Ben and Michael worked out together, watched soccer or talked about their time in the military, including their accidents

• Probably babysitting together when their wives are out (no one was able to snap a picture of that, sadly)

• The favorite gift Lily gave Tilly for her birthday was a book, filled with her favorite poetry, with a hand-painted cover made by Lily

Also, as much as Matilda loves a pretty garden she definitley believes in having people more qualified than her to take care of it...so yeah Tilly would definitley protest
